I cannot get the concept to complete each of these problems.

2x + 5 = 13 , 2x = 13-5 , x =8/2 , x=4

Solution:

Given polynomial:

x^2 – 5x + 6

Factorise:

x^2 – 5x + 6 = (x – 2)(x – 3)

Now,

x – 2 = 0 x = 2

x – 3 = 0 x = 3

Answer:

Zeros are 2 and 3
