Senior project
Smart Budget is a mobile application designed to help users track and manage their personal expenses in a simple and intelligent way. The application allows users to record daily expenses, categorize them (such as food, transportation, shopping, and bills), and set monthly budgets for each category.
The system provides reports and visual statistics to help users understand their spending patterns. It also sends notifications when users are close to exceeding their budget limits.
The main goal of the application is to increase financial awareness and support users in making better financial decisions. The app will be developed using modern technologies and connected to a secure database for storing user data.
Tools & Technologies Required:
The project will be developed using Flutter (Dart) for cross-platform mobile application development to support both Android and iOS devices. SQLite will be used as a local database for storing users expense records securely on the device. Additionally, Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) will be integrated to manage user accounts and enable secure cloud data synchronization and backup. Version control and collaboration will be handled using Git and GitHub.

The project will highlight the students ability to plan, design, implement, and test a mobile application while applying key Android development skills.
The app must integrate database storage, multiple screens, structured layout design, and proper Android components. It must be fully functional, tested, and free from runtime crashes. Each student/group has to prepare
