Answer question that i already started:

    • Tell us about how you’ve contributed to your school and/or broader community through leadership, service, or civic engagement.

I’m always willing to give back to my school, actively engaged with student counselor advisory. I do school tours for new students, workshops for awareness for elementary school (e.g. recently I invited all russians to talk about russian culture – by which i fostered the tension of the community). I’m highly engaged with presenting school, usually I go to dance competitions among international schools, or mun conferences among schools by which I try to foster the rank of our school. Additionally, for all my projects I try to engage the most of the sinarmas students, usually seeking for volunteers on campus, as I already have 30+ volunteers, I contribute to the team spirit among the school. Additionally I participate in UN day, Russian bazaars, and other cultural events, helping to foster the international community in school.

    2)

    • Think of a time when you noticed a problem or unmet need around you, at school, home, or in your community. What did you do in response, and what would you do differently if you could try again? (150-200 words)

In early 2022, the outbreak of the Russo-Ukrainian war motivated my family to relocate to Indonesia. That was a switch. In new schoolI I faced bullying and, under stress, developed disordered eating. Experiencing endless hunger firsthand made me realise how disruptive emptiness can be, not just physically, but mentally. Going through it myself made me certain I did not want anyone else to feel that kind of helplessness.

The following year, I met a girl in an isolated area of Banten, skin-and-bones, who asked me in stumbling bittersweet English, ibu, gift me food. Something inside me collapsed, seeing an innocent being suffering, and I knew I could not just be sorry..I had to act for her sake.

Therefore, later I came up with the Zeal for Equality Food Project, something that filled my emptiness: I rallied my classmates to help me prepare and deliver meals to those in need, coordinated schedules, guided the team, and oversaw donations. And when we delivered our first 50 boxes after 2 months of work – I felt a true relief, a sense of purpose and responsibility I had never experienced before and soon not only the undertaken orphanages kids started to look healthier, but I also started to lose weight but to norm, as if my life was finally in balance of giving and getting: the true purpose of non-forprofit.

If I went through this experience again, I would focus on sustainability earlier, training local volunteers so the project could grow even faster and reach more children in need.

    3)

    • Share a specific situation in which you had limited resources (time, materials, knowledge, support) and still needed to achieve a goal. What did you do, and what did the experience teach you about creativity and persistence? (150-200words)

Recently, I wanted to gain some consulting experience before summer, but I had very few connections and little time. I realized that if I wanted an opportunity, I would have to make it happen myself. I spent lunches at school researching 68 companies I was interested in, gathering contacts, and figuring out the best way to reach out. After that, I decided to reach out to them as fast as possible: I called 11 firms and emailed the rest. Many didnt respond, some declined, and a few asked me to wait. Eventually, two scheduled interviews – Renaissance Bank and Cardone Enterprises. The process was energy-consuming at times, but I was dedicated to achieving my goal, learning valuable lessons along the way: how to communicate clearly, how to handle rejection, and how to manage my time effectively. Additionally, the key outtake I gained from this is you have to be what company wants you to be, not only what you can propose. This experience taught me that persistence isnt about pushing until you succeedits about staying consistent and thoughtful even when resources are limited. Ultimately, this summer I’m interning at Cardone Enterprises!

  • Busm4551 Assessment 1: Innovation Management Video Presentat…

Assessment 1: Innovation Management Video Presentation (Individual) Rationale This task simulates a real-world job scenario while assessing your ability to demonstrate key learning outcomes related to creativity tools and innovation models introduced in Weeks 14. The assessment puts you directly in the shoes of a professional applying for an Innovation Specialist role. Youll get practical experience communicating your knowledge and skills in innovation management within a realistic job scenario. Specifically, you will demonstrate how well you can apply concepts and tools from the first four weeks of the course to real-world innovation projects. This will help you strengthen key professional skills such as clear communication, persuasive presentation, and practical problem-solving. Learning Outcomes Assessed: CLO 1. Explain the relationship between creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and their impact on business growth, sustainability, and value creation. CLO 2. Investigate the factors that inhibit creativity in individuals and teams, as well as innovation within organisations, and recommend strategies to foster entrepreneurial behaviour. CLO 3. Critique strategies and frameworks for innovation management and assess their effectiveness in achieving business goals. Scenario Introduction: You recently applied for an Innovation Specialist role at TITANIX Entertainment, a renowned film production and distribution company known for creative storytelling and groundbreaking projects. You attended an initial interview with their HR department, where they specifically mentioned they are looking for someone to contribute effectively to their new superhero project. Shortly after your interview, you received the following email from their recruitment team: From: recruitment@titanixentertainment.com Subject: Next Step in Recruitment Process Congratulations! We were impressed by your initial application and performance in your first interview. As the next step in our recruitment process, we invite you to submit a short video presentation. We are particularly interested in seeing your ability to support senior managers in enhancing creativity and innovation in the TITANIX Entertainment superhero project. Please use this video presentation as an opportunity to demonstrate your innovative thinking, professional expertise, and your practical approach to fostering creativity and innovation. We look forward to your submission! Warm regards, TITANIX Entertainment Recruitment Team Background about the Superhero Project: During your first-round interview, you noted that the HR specialist at TITANIX Entertainment shared an overview of the companys latest creative initiative, an original superhero project currently in development. She explained that the aim is to create a completely new superhero character, brought to life through compelling storytelling, a distinctive visual style, and strong commercial potential across multiple platforms. Writers are developing early story concepts, designers are working on visual identity and costume design, and animators are exploring how the character will move and appear on screen. Meanwhile, the marketing team is beginning to map out strategies for film, television, merchandise, and digital experiences. She also mentioned that the company is looking for someone to collaborate with and support senior managers in both the creative and operational delivery of this innovative project. They want someone with practical innovation expertise, creative contributions, and the ability to collaborate across teams to help shape this ambitious new franchise. Your Decision:You think the best way to showcase your suitability for this role is to select three specific innovation management concepts, tools, frameworks, methods, or theories from the first four weeks of your Innovation Management course. You decide to prepare a short, persuasive video presentation, believing this will effectively demonstrate how your knowledge and practical expertise can directly contribute to enhancing creativity and innovation in the TITANIX Entertainment superhero project. Task Prepare and submit a persuasive, professional video presentation (68 minutes) that clearly: Demonstrates your practical knowledge and expertise in creativity and innovation management. Explains three specific innovation management concepts, frameworks, tools, methods, or theories from the first four weeks of your Innovation Management course. Uses brief, hypothetical but realistic examples to demonstrate how each tool or framework could support a particular stage of the superhero project. Briefly identifies potential limitations or challenges associated with each chosen approach. Your presentation must feel authentic and professional. Avoid referring to this as a university assignment in your video; speak directly to the company as though this is a real job application. Also, we are not asking you to create a superhero character; rather, we want to see how you would apply your learning to support and advance the project. Guidelines: Professionalism: Address your audience professionally and confidently. Video Quality: Ensure clear audio and visuals. You are encouraged to use effective visual aids (slides, graphics, etc.). Persuasive Communication: Clearly demonstrate how each selected approach practically adds value to the superhero project. Duration: Your video must be between 6 and 8 minutes, with a grace period of up to 20 seconds over the 8-minute limit (i.e., maximum acceptable length is 8 minutes and 20 seconds). Videos exceeding 8 minutes 20 seconds will incur a 2-mark deduction (out of 30 total marks for this assessment). On-Camera Presence: Throughout the presentation, you must be visibly present on camera, in the corner of the screen. This requirement is to enable assessors to connect with you as the presenter. It also adds an element of authenticity and engagement to your submission. Submission: Submit your video via Canvas by copying and pasting your YouTube link into the Text Entry section of the assignment submission page. If you need instruction to create a YouTube link of your video, see: Links to an external site. Name your YouTube video clearly as FirstNameLastName_Assessment1 (e.g., JohnSmith_Assessment1). Do not wait until the last minute to upload. While uploading the video in YouTube, mark it as unlisted so it is not publicly visible to the whole world. After the completion of the course, you can change that setting. Late submissions incur a penalty of 10% per day, automatically generated by Canvas. Penalties will not be overturned. Ensure you track assessment deadlines and allow time for unexpected issuessubmit early. In exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies), you may request an extension following standard university processes outlined on Canvas. It is designed to support your learning and development throughout the course. Please ensure you review your feedback carefully to inform your future work and academic progress.
