Please read and review the attached vignette on the LEGO Company and answer the following questions. Upload your answers into Canvas prior to the due date for this assignment.

    1. What “Ps” from the Marketing Mix were explicitly covered in the LEOG vignette? Explain how each of the P’s you see mentioned in the piece were referenced in relation to LEGO.

    2. Apart from “Product,” which Marketing Mix “P” was perhaps most relevant to the turnaround of LEGO? Explain WHY and HOW this “P” might have been very relevant to the turnaround of LEGO? Hint: Think “outside the vignette” for answering this one. What is largely missing from the vignette in terms of your own understanding of LEGO, how they go to market and where they sell their products?

For grading guidance, we are looking for a sentence or two explaining how each “P” you see mentioned is referenced and a longer paragraph for #2.

  • Chapter 5 homework

    • Why is the demand for some goods either elastic or inelastic?
    • What happens to the housing rental market if your community has a big boom in apartment production?
    • Would demand be elastic or inelastic?
    • Define elastic, inelastic, and unitary
    • How do you calculate the income elasticity of demand?
    • How do you calculate the elasticity of supply
    1. Elasticity Concepts: a. Define the concept of price elasticity of demand (PED) and income elasticity of demand (YED). b. How is price elasticity of demand calculated, and what does the value of PED signify in terms of a product’s responsiveness to price changes? c. Explain the key factors that determine whether a good has elastic or inelastic demand.
    2. Identifying Elastic and Inelastic Goods: a. Provide an example of a product with inelastic demand and explain why the demand for this product is relatively insensitive to price changes. b. Give an example of a product with elastic demand and clarify why the demand for this product is responsive to price fluctuations. c. Can a luxury car be an example of inelastic demand? Justify your answer.
    3. Real-World Applications: a. Give a real-world example of a product or service with highly elastic demand and discuss how changes in price affect its demand. b. Provide a real-world example of a product or service with inelastic demand and explain why consumers are not very responsive to changes in its price. c. Consider the impact of an increase in the minimum wage on the demand for fast food versus the demand for prescription medication. I am forwarding the instructions given to me by my professor regarding the restructuring of the thesis:

The methodology needs to be restructured.

The methodology should be based on a bibliometric literature review.

Only Chapters 1 and 2 will remain, and the entire research part (Chapters 3, 4, 5, and 6) will change from a Systematic Literature Review to a bibliometric literature review.

Specifically, I would like the methodology to be formulated according to the bibliometric literature review framework.

At the same time, it is important to ensure coherence between the methodology section and the rest of the text. There are already two template articles available, on which I would like the final structure to be based.
