  • PDLM Presentation

During Week 5 – Week 6 you will continue to plan, design and develop the teaching and assessment materials for your PDLM, and practice presenting it in Microsoft Teams. I would suggest you to check the before developing your teaching and assessment materials.

The PDLM should be approximately 30 minutes in length and designed for delivery to the instructor and at least FIVE peers. Your strategies should include a PowerPoint presentation, interactive activities, assessment and evaluation methods, audio/text chat, and a Q&A session. When planning, consider how you will assess participant learning and evaluate the effectiveness of the workshop. This could include pre- and post-assessments, formative assessments, workshop surveys, and Q&A sessions. You must complete the “PDLM Teaching and Assessment Materials” page in your KMS and invite your peer review group members and the instructor to review it by the end of Week 6.

All materials you plan to use in the PDLM module must be included on this page, such as your presentation file, teaching materials, assessments, resource links, and any other relevant content. You must also provide a description of how these materials will be logically used during your workshop. In addition, you are required to sign up for your own workshop session and at least five peer sessions, as this is a requirement for all students.

  • Child Development Focused Literature Review

For each of the following Child Development areas below, find two peer-reviewed academic research articles – a total of 10 article reviews. Articles should be no more than 10 years old and do not use direct quotes – I need to assess what you learned, not what someone else wrote. Child Development Research Assignment Topics * Child Development (articles specific to the profession and practice of child development) * Family Systems (articles specific to the function of family units as they relate to the development of children within the family: Note: the focus is on the family system, not just parents) * Child Play (articles specific to the benefits and challenges of play as a child development tool) * Loss/Bereavement (articles specific to the effects of loss or grief in children) * Child Law and Public Policy (articles specific to a current law or public policy that focus on children and/or their development) instructions: * Choose 2 peer-reviewed academic research articles for each child development topic * For each article provide a summary of the research to include the purpose of the research, how the research was conducted, the results and implication for future research. Then provide a brief critique of the article. Each article review should be between 1 and 12 pages in length and use one-inch margins. * Label each article review with the title of the article as the heading. * Submit your paper as a single document, double-spaced. Your assignment will be 10-15 pages in length. * APA format your paper and include a cover page and a full reference page. An abstract or running head should not be used. * Be sure to submit a COMPLETE reference for each source – if I cannot verify from your reference that the source is a peer-reviewed academic journal article, it will not count as a source – see the Purdue Owl APA site for the correct formatting of academic citations and references.

This planning packet will serve as the foundation for Assignment 2: Informational Article Rough Draft

  • Teacher Certification Exam Personal Success Plan

Teacher certification exams are designed to ensure that teachers have the necessary knowledge and skills to educate students effectively. These exams assess a teachers understanding of the subject matter they will be teaching and their ability to teach it. They also help standardize the qualifications of teachers across the state. These plans may include course schedules, study strategies, and extracurricular activities to help them excel academically and prepare for future career opportunities.

After finishing the Classroom Competency Practice Exam assignment, complete the Teacher Certification Exam Personal Success Plan template to help you prepare for your state certification exam. In this template, students will be required to provide evidence that they have registered for their content knowledge exam(s) or have already passed their exam(s).
