Creating an inclusive program allows all children to have opportunities to succeed and can help prevent challenging behaviors. Using what you have learned in Chapter 12 of the Kaiser, et al., (2017) text, you will be developing a written plan for meeting with a family member about a challenging behavior their child is struggling with in your program. You will also briefly interview a parent or guardian for their perspective. This does not have to be the parent or guardian of the child in your plan. The parent interview is meant to inform the structure of your parent meeting. Confidentiality is essential when working with children and families. Please do not use any identifying information including names, birthdates, address, locations of programs, etc. Your final submission will be a 4-5-page APA style paper. Please consider the following when writing your paper: Briefly interview a parent or guardian for their perspective on a meeting discussing their childs challenging behavior. Find out what would make them comfortable, what outcomes they would like to see, and how they would like to be involved. Include the interview in your paper.
