They include the unique constellation of families, the impact of social class, how families have evolved over the years as impacted by social movements, family crisis and stress, domestic violence, the decision to remain single, choose a life partner, and cohabitation. In this assignment, you will look at your life through this lens.
Based on your research, describe the following:
o What concepts from the course you see in your own family?
o What has impacted your familys constellation, and has it changed over

o How are partners chosen, and how has the family responded to times of
stress?
It is important you provide concrete examples and connect them to outside
literature references to support your key points.
Requirements:
If possible, cite our course text: Lamanna, M.A., Riedmann, A., & Stewart, S.D. (2020). Marriages, families, and relationships: Making choices in a diverse society (14h Ed.). Cengage Learning

You are responsible for working with the cooperating teacher to prepare for formal observation.
The Instructional Unit plan is a complete area of study that you and the cooperating teacher facilitated in class.
Submit everything at least THREE (3) days prior to Formal Lesson Observation.
1. Unit of study – from the curriculum – copy
2. Completed lesson plan using
that you will teach during the formal observation
The Lesson Plan Template is a Thinking Map. It outlines the complexity of teaching and what a teacher must include when they are thoughtfully planning with information from data. Fill in the Lesson Plan Template using the specific lesson you have identified from the dedicated curriculum. Take the content and fill it in the sections on this template. There may be areas that will not have any information. This will help you see what the strength in the lesson plan and the needs based on the students you are working with.
After you place all the information from the curriculum, what modifications will you make to support your students? When you include the modifications, make a note and highlight the modifications. At the end of the template provide a narrative that explains what data was used to make the appropriate modifications on this lesson plan to ensure all students will have access to the learning.
3. Pre-assessments results
The Pre-Assessment: is a quick evaluation at the start of learning (a lesson or a unit) to gauge students existing knowledge, skills, interests, and potential misconceptions, that will help you tailor instruction, group students effectively, and challenge learners appropriately, preventing reteaching or boredom, and ensuring new learning builds on prior understanding. It serves as a diagnostic tool for instructional decisions, revealing gaps and informing differentiated teaching strategies.
The Key Purposes and Benefits of a Pre Assessment: Informs Instruction, Supports Differentiated Instruction, Identifies Gaps and/or misconceptions, Intellectually Engages Students, and Measures Growth.
In this section, you will upload a pre-assessment that the cooperating teacher implements.
4. Materials/resources (texts, manipulatives, websites/videos/apps, etc.) being considered for use in the lesson
5. Rubric
Clinical Supervisor will review all documents and provide the Teacher Candidate with suggestions/strategies/questions designed to improve the lesson.

Your artifact is due next Wednesday, Feb 4th. Please remember that you MUST save it as a pdf, and post it in BOTH VCamp & Watermark SL&L.
I taught this course previously. A student submitted the artifact, but there was nothing in the artifact linking the student’s philosophy of classroom management to anything learned in the course. It was a bunch of rambling with sources. Make sure you use information from the course in your artifact.
In Unit 1, you were asked to share your philosophy of classroom management. Has your philosophy changed after being in this course? If so, how has it changed? If it has not changed, what areas have been validated by the information you have learned in this course?
Write a two-page (5 paragraph) essay which analyzes and comments on your classroom philosophy.
This is a culminating activity for this course which is meant to encompass your understanding of several topics and concepts in behavior and classroom management.
Your Artifact must have a title page (Your name, Course Name, Date); be no less than 500 words, include information from the text and at least 2 sources/references, double-spaced, Times New Roman, and 12 point font. You must use the 7th edition APA. Note: It will require well over the 500 word minimum. 500 is only the bare minimum for consideration for a passing grade on the assignment. 500 words is not the gold standard.
Please use Building Classroom Management: Methods and Models by C.M Charles and Karen M. Cole chapters 1-13 as the primary source
