Step 1: For this assignment, students will create a video presentation performing a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation of A SCHOOL-AGE CHILD (11 YEAR OLD IN THIS CASE). You are expected to choose a child and an adult to conduct an interview with. The child and parent are not required to be actual clinic patients, but merely someone who has agreed to perform the interview with you (IT WILL BE AN 11 YEAR OLD AND HIS FATHER). You will be graded on your interview skills when interviewing the persons performing as a school age and a parent. You are expected to ask the patient and the parent questions the same way you do with your patients in the clinic. Both should be available virtually or in-person to answer questions. You may use a Zoom/video call to assess the simulated patient if you do not have a child/parent you can assess face to face.

I expect that you will conduct a mental status exam during the interview. If you don’t ask it or explain how you observed it, then don’t document it. Only the information asked in the video will be used for grading.

1. Select a specific health care challenge or issue of interest within your field of study or professional practice.
2. Write a problem statement for the issue you will be addressing. A quality problem statement will have the following characteristics:
   1. A single sentence statement
   2. Hard data support to quantify the problem
   3. Free of bias or opinion
   4. Relevance demonstrated through evidence
3. Identify seven evidence bases (one for each level in the hierarchy) which have evaluated a solution for the chosen healthcare challenge. Some evidence bases may present the same solution, which is fine. You are looking for seven unique evidence bases representing each of the levels of the evidence hierarchy. That may not translate to seven unique solutions.
4. For each evidence base – Provide the following:
   1. Title, authors, date, publication source and abstract.
