Project Assessment is evaluation. It is a critical part of the grant proposal. Evaluation is linked to the program goal(s) and objectives. The best evaluations contain both subjective (i.e.qualitative) and objective (i.e. quantitative) data and serve as evidence of Project success. Subjective (qualitative) data can address the feelings and opinions of program participants, or how successful was the program. Such data can be captured using interviews, or satisfaction surveys etc. Objective (quantitative) data focuses on how much or how many. For example: how many participants enrolled in the program or how many staff trainings did you conduct?
