    Introduction

The health information management (HIM) professional serves a role in protecting the confidentiality, privacy, and security of the personal health information in a patients health record. An HIM professional is someone who is awarded any American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) certification (e.g., registered health information administrator [RHIA]). The HIM professional agrees to follow the principles and values of the AHIMA Code of Ethics. There is an ethical obligation in this role that spans multiple experiences within the daily work of managing health information. As a leader in the professional field, the HIM professional should work to educate others on the importance of the ethical obligation held by all who work with health data in all its forms: paper, electronic, and oral.

The following task is one that you may someday perform in your career. As a leader in the field, you will be called on to mentor those coming into the HIM profession, and you will use your experiences and educational background and the AHIMA Code of Ethics to encourage them to see the critical importance of their role and that roles inherent responsibilities.

    Scenario

You are an RHIA working in a rural hospital. There are 10 staff members working in the HIM department. One of your professional colleagues, also an RHIA, works for the local community college as an adjunct faculty member of the registered health information technician (RHIT) program, which is the associates degree level for HIM professionals.

Your colleague has asked you to create a multimedia presentation to present to a class of 20 students outlining the ethical obligations of the HIM professional at all levels. Your colleague has asked you to focus specifically on issues related to the HIM profession and to present your ideas in such a way as to stimulate discussion and questions. This presentation should be interactive and should encourage students to realize what may be ahead for them in the areas of ethical challenges specific to their future role in the field of HIM.

    Requirements

Your submission must represent your original work and understanding of the course material. Most performance assessment submissions are automatically scanned through the WGU similarity checker. Students are strongly encouraged to wait for the similarity report to generate after uploading their work and then review it to ensure Academic Authenticity guidelines are met before submitting the file for evaluation. See for more information.

    Grammarly Note:

Professional Communication will be automatically assessed through Grammarly for Education in most performance assessments before a student submits work for evaluation. Students are strongly encouraged to review the Grammarly for Education feedback prior to submitting work for evaluation, as the overall submission will not pass without this aspect passing. See for more information.

    Microsoft Files Note:

Write your paper in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) unless another Microsoft product, or pdf, is specified in the task directions. Tasks may not be submitted as cloud links, such as links to Google Docs, Google Slides, OneDrive, etc. All supporting documentation, such as screenshots and proof of experience, should be collected in a pdf file and submitted separately from the main file. For more information, please see

You must use the rubric to direct the creation of your submission because it provides detailed criteria that will be used to evaluate your work. Each requirement below may be evaluated by more than one rubric aspect. The rubric aspect titles may contain hyperlinks to relevant portions of the course.

    A. Create a multimedia presentation (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote), including presenter notes and introductory and closing slides (suggested length of 1214 slides). In your presentation, do the following:

  • Risk management

Week 4 Assignment- Risk Management Instructions Additional Reading: Athletic Business In this activity you will consider issues created by hazards common to facilities and equipment used in a sport you would like to coach. Please develop a power point that describes the sport chosen, the type of facility and equipment used, and at least 2 injuries that are directly related to hazardous conditions, poorly maintained facilities, or damaged equipment–do NOT describe ill-fitting shoes, poorly-sized helmets, choosing to not use safety equipment, etc.–these are human errors and not appropriate for this assignment. You must clearly link the facility/equipment hazards to specific injuries common to participation in that sport. Lastly, describe how you would address these issues (hazards) as a coach to prevent the injuries chosen. The injuries and prevention strategies chosen must clearly relate to the physical hazards described–this connection is the entire point of the assignment. Your PPT should also include a minimum of 3 graphics. I will be looking for the correct use of anatomical terms when describing the injuries (don’t just write their names), a detailed look at potential hazards chosen, and your method of preventing injuries. If you are unsure if you’ve chosen “good” hazards, send me a message and ask. Upload the assignment as a power point/pptx file. PLEASE HAVE ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION IN THE SLIDES- not the “notes”. • Virtual Clinics for Chronic and Palliative Home Care Market…

Market Entry Strategy & Managed Care Product Design: Implementing Virtual Clinics for Chronic and Palliative Home Care in Riyadh Detailed Brief 1. Market Demand & Opportunity (The “Research” Task) Target: Conduct a high-level market assessment of Riyadhs home health sector for 2026. Key Data Point: Use the 25.1% CAGR projected for Saudi telehealth to justify the timing of this launch. The “Vision” Gap: Explain how the Seha Virtual Hospital model has set a national standard that private providers must now meet. Demand Drivers: Highlight the rising prevalence of chronic diseases (8 million adults with diabetes) as the primary engine for subscription demand. 2. Service Package Design (The “Caregiver” Task) The writer must design three tiered “Managed Care Packages” that include both a physical caregiver and a virtual clinic layer: Diabetes Package: Focus on Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) using blood glucose devices and AI-powered triage. Hypertension Package: Include integrated BP monitoring and virtual family medicine consultations. Palliative Care Package: A holistic model combining “Elite” home nursing with 24/7 virtual specialist access for end-of-life support. 3. Operational Distinction (The “Adeed vs. Sanar” Task) The CEO needs a clear explanation of why we are not just a “platform.” The writer should define our model as an Integrated Digital Provider: Operator Strength: Unlike Sanar (which is a tech marketplace), we will employ our own clinical staff to ensure quality control, similar to Adeed and Eithar. Virtual Clinic Layer: Unlike traditional providers, every package will be “virtual-first,” meaning the caregiver at the home uses our own platform to connect the patient to a doctor instantly. 4. Implementation Strategy (The “Thesis Integration” Task) Resource Allocation: Use the thesis finding that 50% of stakeholders see improved resource efficiency with digital tools to justify the “Virtual Clinic” ROI. Training & Adoption: Use the UTAUT framework to outline a training plan for caregivers, ensuring they can operate the “Virtual Clinic” technology on behalf of the patient. Materials to provide the writer: The CEO’s Vision: Explain his focus on moving from “visits” to “packages” and his interest in being a virtual-first operator. Thesis: Specifically Section 2.1 (Theoretical Framework) and Chapter 4 (Research Findings) so they can use your Riyadh-specific survey results. Competitor List: Provide the names Adeed, Eithar, and Sanar to ensure they address the CEO’s specific benchmarks.
