    1. Overview of Amazons MIS Environment

Briefly describe Amazons business model and explain why MIS is central to its operations.

    2. How Amazon Utilizes MIS

Explain how Amazon uses MIS across key functional areas. You may discuss (but are not limited to):

    • Sales and transaction processing systems
    • Inventory management and warehouse systems
    • Supply chain and logistics information systems
    • Customer data, personalization, and recommendation systems
    • Management dashboards and decision-support systems

Use concrete examples to demonstrate how information flows through the organization.

    3. Benefits of MIS Utilization

Analyze the organizational benefits Amazon gains from its MIS, such as:

    • Operational efficiency and cost reduction
    • Improved decision-making and forecasting
    • Enhanced customer satisfaction and experience
    • Competitive advantage and scalability
    • Better coordination with suppliers and partners

    • Link MIS usage to organizational performance and strategy
    • Communicate analytical insights clearly and professionally
  • Organization as a System

Consider the organization you are currently working for or the one you have worked for in the past. Describe this organization as a system in a three page APA style paper (excluding title and reference pages). Discuss each of these concerning this system (Please see Definition of a System and its Parts in Chapter 1 of the text):

    • What is the input to this system?
    • What is the output?
    • What is the boundary of the system?
    • What are the components? And their interrelationships?
    • What are the constraints?
    • What is the purpose?
    • What are the interfaces?
    • And what is the environment?

Draw a diagram of this system (you can use Word or PowerPoint to draw a diagram).

In addition to the requirements above, your paper:

    • Must be 900 word double-spaced (three pages) and use 12 point font.

Provide a graduate-level example from industry (e.g., Domino’s data warehouse or NHL wireless tracking) and its managerial impact. Minimum 300 words, 1-2 citations.
  • Case Study – Hardware Sourcing

For this assignment, just help me to rewrite what I was done before, to reduce the AI rate.

Huawei and Hikvision are both world-leading companies in their respective fields. Huawei has long provided core equipment and solutions for global communication networks, while Hikvision holds a significant market position in video surveillance and intelligent security. Therefore, when our company prepared to procure communication equipment and AI cameras for a new product line, these two companies were naturally our first considerations. However, we encountered issues during our final solution decision-making process. The company identified potential risks associated with partnering with Huawei and Hikvision. On the surface, both Huawei and Hikvision possess cutting-edge technology, reliable quality, and extensive international partnerships, seemingly capable of providing dependable supply and support for the new product line. Yet this proposal sparked team debate precisely because it extended beyond mere technical and quality considerations, involving potential risks related to politics, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity.

In recent years, the U.S. government has imposed restrictions on these companies’ products due to national security concerns, implementing a series of measures while expressing worries to other nations about related business collaborations. Nevertheless, Huawei and Hikvision maintain international reputations, with numerous countries and telecom operators continuing to deploy their products for communication infrastructure. Huawei has publicly emphasized its corporate governance structure and operational independence, asserting it is not directly controlled by the Chinese government. For multinational corporations, this situation presents particular complexity. On one hand, these suppliers enjoy international prestige, backed by feedback and trust from multiple countries. Partnering with them offers cost advantages, quality assurance, and robust supply capabilities. On the other hand, once in the market, they may face constant compliance risks and scrutiny, potentially undermining customer and market trust.

Therefore, we will focus on the issue itself. Based on the reading materials, we will systematically outline arguments both supporting and opposing Huawei/Hikvision technology. We will analyze information biases and positional biases present in each side’s arguments, further explaining how the team will evaluate these perspectives through discussion. After comprehensively weighing the risks and benefits from both sides, we will provide the company with a final recommendation.

And I provide assignment details for reference. My part is the introduction.

build the screens from the requirements you wrote up in Milestone 1. Your interfaces

should look fairly realistic and give me a good idea how the system might really look (and

work). You will want to have colors and pictures along with

buttons/textfields/dropdowns/tabs etc. Your interfaces do not have to have actual buttons
