Part 1: Find and evaluate an academic book review published in an academic, peer-reviewed journal and discuss the key features of the review. Critically analyze the information included, the distinguishing features of the structure of a book review, and clearly identify the specific topics discussed in the review. Throughout the semester, students will be required to read, analyze, and draft case briefs. These will be based on mostly US Supreme Court cases and deal with issues pertaining to subject matter from the textbook. Full or edited case opinions will be provided. Case briefs tend to follow a similar framework (as seen below in the template provided). Please focus on the constitutional/legal questions and the Court’s analysis; facts are important but HOW the law is applied proves to be more compelling.
Full and accurate citations for the court case you use are REQUIRED, including any other formal sources provided.

Overview
Your final draft of the brief should incorporate all suggested changes made by your instructor as well as incorporate additional edits. You should not incorporate any new sources into your final draft; unless specifically instructed to do so by your professor in the rough draft feedback. The final draft should merely incorporate the feedback provided by your professor.

Overview
This assignment will require in depth analysis of two specific ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct of your choosing. You will thoroughly analyze the selected model rules through the lens of scripture and analyze those rules through the lens of a Biblical worldview. This analysis requires research into the moral and ethical underpinnings of each model rule and requires one to apply a Biblical worldview to shape the analysis. This research project will develop a deeper understanding of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct, enhance research and writing skills, and will show the importance of applying a Biblical worldview to the practice of law.
Instructions
For this assignment, you will select what you believe to be the two most important ABA Model Rules.
You can locate a link to the most current version of the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct in the Learn section of your assigned Module: Week.
After selecting those rules, you must write a 2-3 page paper explain why you selected the two rules that you chose, the ethical policies that form the foundation of the rule, the sources of those policies, and how those policies can be interpreted through the lens of scripture. Your paper must cite at least two scholarly sources which may include law review articles, your textbook, the Bible or case law. Your citations must be formatted in accordance with the Bluebook using footnotes.
