Using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, or another project management software tool, create a
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for a project of interest, such as developing a website, building
a house, or planning an event. Break down the individual tasks into small enough parts that a
worker could easily follow and complete them. Determine within your WBS different task
relationships, the order in which they must be done, which can be done in tandem, and an
estimation of how long each task will take to complete.
