use/include/explain at least three keywords from the course (any specific Chapter or any
combination of Chapters)
Can be about
personal experience
a professional issue(s)
a theoretical/philosophical issue(s)
and so on…
Should be crystallized/practiced in your AI assignment (SP)
You must
Make the changes to your AI text, and incorporate them in their revised version to the
paper.

Use a minimum of 5 citations (2-3 must be research papers)
PDF, Word, or Canvas textbox format ONLY
Grading:
– 10 points for the usual writing rubrics
– 10 mastery of the keyterms and adequate application of these keyterms (Please bold your
keyterms, -1 if you do not)
– 10 AI work and revisions incorporated and improved upon in the text (Please highlight your AI
sections)
– 10 originality, reasoning, and relevance (ex: are your arguments appropriate for a cultural
psychologist? Are you able to tie concepts together to paint a broad picture and convey the
essence of your subject?)
– 5 adequate citation use, APA format, and strong citations supporting your subject
– 5 Search for and share a song (youtube link after your citation page) that makes you think of the
culture(s) and/or subject(s) addressed in your paper. Make sure it is non-explicit and appropriate

blog post
Parents often struggle to understand the difference between reinforcement and punishment, especially the technical terms, positive and negative. Write a blog post of at least three paragraphs in length, explaining the differences and similarities between positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, positive punishment, and negative punishment. Use technical definitions but then translate them into laypersons terms. Be sure to use examples that would help a parent to understand.
References: Include 3 scholarly resources.

Human Physiology, Homeostasis, and Disease
Topic: Human Physiology, Homeostasis, and Disease
Background
The human body maintains stable internal conditions through homeostasis despite changes in the external environment. Systems such as the nervous system and endocrine system play a key role in regulating body functions. Disruptions in these systems can lead to diseases such as diabetes or hypertension.
Assignment Questions
Question 1: Homeostasis and Regulation (20 Marks)
Using biological concepts:
a) Explain the concept of homeostasis and why it is essential for survival.
b) Describe the roles of the nervous system and the endocrine system in maintaining homeostasis.
c) Using body temperature or blood glucose regulation as an example, explain how negative feedback mechanisms operate in humans.
Question 2: Disease and Body Response (25 Marks)
Discuss how failure in homeostatic mechanisms can lead to disease.
Your answer should include:
Explanation of one disease (e.g., diabetes mellitus)
How the disease disrupts normal physiological processes
The role of hormones such as insulin
Effects on the body (short-term and long-term)
Methods of treatment and management

Scientific evaluation paper
Claim: Chronic social isolation contributes to increased depressive symptoms and weak cognitive functioning in students and young adults.
Thesis: In students and young adults, chronic social isolation is associated with increased depressive symptoms and poor cognitive performance through stress dysregulation, neuroinflammation, sleep disruption, and altered brain plasticity and network function.
You can tweak or change my claim or thesis to something better and stronger. This is what I could come up with so far.
I have attached the rubric to follow for the assignment. I am aiming for an A+, A the least B+. I have already lost 5% so I need to get the full 20%.
The paper is 12 pages excluding references.
Minimum of 25 references total, including:
- 20 primary research articles
- 15 primary articles from 2016 or later
- 5 primary animal studies
- 5 references addressing equity-deserving / ethnoracial / cultural issues
All references must follow a consistent citation style
