In it, you will include the comparison of the articles, noting limitations from any of the studies and the literature review itself and recommended future research studies. The student will submit a 2-page double-spaced comparison/contrast essay-“Comparing the Evolution of Public Health Responses to Pandemics: The Responses to Pandemics: The 1918 Influenza vs. COVID 19.” The paper should follow an MLA format with proper citations, 12-point font, and double spaced. A word template has been provided.

A grading rubric is available to see how you will be assessed. Please review the rubric before submitting your essay.

For this assignment, students should select a vulnerable population of interest (examples listed below) and examine the group as a whole, not just an individual client. Please note, this paper is not about a population’s medical vulnerabilities only. Students are free to research various definitions of vulnerable populations in the literature, but in general think of a vulnerable population as one that is at risk for certain health problems as a result of being marginalized by society and others.
