For this assignment, you are to conduct scholarly research on an assigned cultural group. (See below for which group you have been assigned to.) You will examine specific health conditions as well as beliefs about health for the group. Include relevant data and statistics as needed. You must use a minimum of four scholarly sources for this assignment. One of those sources must be your textbook, Multicultural Health (Ritter & Graham, 2023).

This assignment consists of seven sections:

1. Introduction (one paragraph)

26. Summarize the main points of your paper and address the importance of cultural competence and cultural humility and how it applies to nursing practice when delivering care to your assigned population

FORMATTING GUIDELINES:

Use a minimum of 3 scholarly sources (excluding your textbook) published within the last 5 years. Each source should have a corresponding in-text citation and reference.

o On occasion, where limited material is available, you may use research published within the past 10 years, however one exception would be using any of the models examined in this class to support assignments. These models are considered seminal or landmark studies and therefore, regardless of date of publication, are permissible. If you locate materials that you feel are valuable, please submit these to your instructor for approval.

Purpose
