Instructional Design Outline
,choose an occupational therapy-related topic focusing on a specific diagnosis (autism spectrum disorder interventions in school). Ensure the topic is clinically relevant, evidence-based, and suitable for a small presentation. Information Outline: Develop a detailed outline of the information to be taught, including a description of each key point of the presentation (what you will be educating on), ensuring that it is evidence-based and relevant to OT practice. 1. What is school-based occupational therapy for Autism 2. Focus only on this intervention: Environmental and task modifications in the classrooms OT interventions may include adapting environment, modifying curriculum, and supporting accommodations to ensure access and participation. examples: – Reduce sensory load – Modify task format (chunking, fewer items per page, reduce copying) -Tool access supports (pencil alternatives, slant board if planned, adapted materials) -Choose one change at a time, measure, keep what works TIP: When creating your outline, put yourself in the shoes of a OT educating a student. Think about the key points you would want the students to know in order to perform the intervention you are teaching them. -

Systems Analysis & Context
Part 1: Systems Analysis & Context Purpose of Part 1 Part 1 of the Systems Analysis & Service Delivery Project is designed to help you analyze an existing healthcare or community-based system in which occupational therapy services already exist, using systems theory. The goal of this assignment is to develop a clear understanding of how a system functions, how occupational therapy fits within that system, and where meaningful gaps or barriers to OT service delivery occur. At this stage, you are not designing a new program or intervention. You are building the analytical foundation that will support later coursework. Assignment Overview For this assignment, you will: Select a specific, established system that includes occupational therapy services Analyze the system using systems theory Identify key stakeholders, policies, and contextual factors Create a systems map that visually represents how the system operates Write a brief explanation connecting your systems analysis to occupational therapy service delivery This work will directly inform Part 2 of this project and later connect to the Program Development Project. Step 1: Select a System Choose one established healthcare or community-based system in which occupational therapy services are currently delivered. chosen system: Anne Arundel county public school system occupational therapy Important Guidelines Be as specific as possible (organizational or program level) OT must already have an established role within the system Step 2: Create a Systems Map Develop a visual systems map that illustrates how your selected system functions. Your systems map must clearly identify: Core system building blocks Key stakeholders and decision-makers Relevant federal, state, and/or local policies At least one meaningful gap or barrier affecting OT service delivery The map should show relationships and interactions between elements (arrows, flow, etc), not just list components. You may use PowerPoint, Canva, Lucidchart, or similar tools. Step 3: Written Contextual Analysis Write a brief narrative explanation (approximately 12 pages) that: Explains how system components, stakeholders, and policies influence OT service delivery Clearly describes the identified gap or barrier Demonstrates systems-level thinking using course concepts At this stage, focus on analysis and understanding, not solution development. Formatting & Submission Requirements Submit one PDF file that includes: Systems map Written explanation APA format for citations and references Clear organization, professional writing, and Use this example below as a guide to illustrate how to think through this assignment: Linked below are several prior student submissions to help generate ideas.Attached Files (PDF/DOCX): Systems Mapping and Contextual Analysis for Hospice in WV.pdf, Richmond VA Medical Center Rehabilitation and Prosthetic Services.pdf, Systems Analysis Contextual Analysis EXAMPLE (1).pdf

Weekly Discussion
We have been studying policy formulation as part of our policymaking cycle model. As you are aware, the stages of policy formulation are agenda setting and legislation development. For this class discussion board, you are to review the video (approximately an hour in length) and post a thread discussing how the Affordable Care Act was developed in its policy formulation phase. You are to illustrate your understanding of the elements of policymaking including the role of interest groups and any other relevant information. Additionally can you name, any other legislation which would be a good subject for studying policy formulation and why?

Training and development PPT
Imagine you are the lead trainer for a global organization, and you are ready for the next step in your career. Through data analytics and observations, you have noticed that employees across the organization do not share their knowledge with one another, whether it be from skills training they recently completed to general knowledge that could enhance the capabilities of the organization. This is a big issue for your organization. The chief executive officer (CEO) and the chief human resources officer (CHRO) have asked you to come up with solutions to address the issue. You see this as a potential opportunity for growth in your career. You have decided to come up with some solutions to address the issue. If the leadership is impressed with your presentation, it could mean a promotion for you.
Create a PowerPoint presentation based on a fictitious company name and location (or use your current company). You will need to make your solutions specific to this company. In the introduction, give the company name and location and some brief background information about the company and industry. Feel free to choose any industry (e.g., technology, manufacturing, advertising, or your current industry) that interests you, and add any details that you think are necessary.
Within your PowerPoint presentation, provide the information below.
- Give three reasons as to why employees do not share knowledge.
- Give three solutions that your organization can incorporate to encourage knowledge sharing among employees.
- Outline a plan for professional training and development related to your career and include how you plan to be committed and intentional about knowledge sharing (e.g., job rotation, cross training, mentoring, etc.).
The PowerPoint presentation must be at least 10 slides in length, not counting the title and reference slides. Each slide must contain speaker notes. Each speaker note should be at least one paragraph containing 5-10 sentences.
At least two images or graphics should be used in your presentation. You are required to use at least one academic or peer-reviewed source to support your presentation. All sources used must be cited and referenced according to APA guidelines. Must have Introduction and conclusion.
