  • Short Report (475)

    • 1.Length: 1800 words

    `

    • 2.Watch the video below to hear how the short reports work : https://youtu.be/oavRq-1RdR0
    • Ignore the specifics of the assignment details in the video – that’s an old doc I used for reference.

    `

    • 3.A key component of this task is the mandatory use of AI tools to enhance research, data analysis, and synthesis of findings.

    `

    • 4.Use at least two AI tools.

    `

    • 5.This report consists of two parts:

    1)Report on chosen topic.(about 1500 words)

2)Reflection on use of AI to create report.(about 300 words)

    `

    • 6. Part 1:Report

Choose ONE (1) of the following to write the report:

    • option 1) You are to answer the question: What evidence is there for climate change, and what can be done about it?

    option 1 must:

    a. Describe evidence for climate change, with specific reference to solar

variability and the impact (if any) that solar variability has on climate.

    b. Explain one or more possible scientific and/or engineering solutions to

    climate change.

    c. Include at least one properly referenced recent relevant

    fact/publication/result dating from January 2022.

    d. Use appropriate referencing in Harvard style.

    e. Not include plagiarised content (see below).

    • option 2) You are expected to choose a new telescope or mission that began collecting data in the last 5 years (that means that the mission/telescope could have launched more than 5 years ago but started collecting data in the last 5 years).

    option 2 must:

    a. Describe the background scientific information and explain the scientific

aims of the mission/telescope, and how they will be answered (this is

related to the first point; the mission/telescope may not completely fill the

    gap in current knowledge!)

    b. Summarise the data that will be gathered by mission/telescope, or the

data that has already been collected.

    c. Include at least one properly referenced recent relevant

    fact/publication/result dating from January 2022.

    d. Use appropriate referencing in Harvard style.

  • Week 7-8 Discussion (ELEN 210)

You currently have an assignment to write a preproposal for your term project. This discussion period is a good opportunity to workshop your preproposal idea. Post your idea or ideas to this forum and invite suggestions and critique from your classmates. You can similarly comment on your classmates ideas.

It is also possible for you to form a team to work on a project. Of course, the scope of such a project would have to be larger than that of a one-person project. Email me first, if some of you decide to form a team.

Below are links to some videos about jugaad a term which implies frugal innovation. Since your project has been limited with respect to the components you can use, I encourage you to watch these videos; they are informative and entertaining. You can also post comments about the videos.

  • SPORT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY INTERVENTION OUTLINE

The purpose of this assignment is to start to develop a plan for your evidence- based intervention in sport and/or physical activity psychology. I posted an outline as well as a mock intervention that you can use for ideas. Feel free to use more sources if needed to.

You will need to describe the challenge, provide a rationale, and then provide a solution.

  • Motor Learning and Performance

Theory to real-world application in Motor Learning and Performance. Instructions Assignment Directions: Answer the following questions. Each question should take 1 1/2 2 pages. Each question must have at least two APA references with corresponding in-text documentation as well. The length of this assignment should be at least 6-8 pages plus Title and reference page. Question #1 You have learned several methods of skill classification. Select a motor skill and classify according to: 1. Environmental predictability 2. Task Organization 3. Importance of motor vs cognitive importance Explain why each classification is an important consideration when selecting appropriate learning strategies for an early learner. Question #2 Practice variability affects motor learning. It is the assumption that to perform under variable conditions, such as attempting to make a golf swing (for example only), the learner needs to practice under a variety of conditions. In other words, only practicing at the driving range would not transfer well to a real game. Next: Overall, the variability of practice seems to be a critical learning and performance issue. 1. Provide an example of a specific motor skill that would like to teach. 2. After you have selected that motor skill, develop a three-week practice schedule, three days per week that shows the variability of practice. 3. In your own words, define the schema as it relates to motor learning, practice variability, and transfer of motor skills. 4. What is the schema that you are hoping the learner will develop about your skill? Question #3 Describe the teaching/learning dilemma of speed vs accuracy. Why is this concept fundamental to both the learning and performance of movement skills? 1. What is the most critical consideration when choosing between each? 2. What are the trade-offs the teacher and learner must consider? 3. Provide an example of applying this concept. 4. Explain your philosophy concerning the emphasis of each in a learning environment. Question #4 All learners go through various stages of learning from the beginning as early learners to advanced or elite. 1. Select a skill and illustrate how Fitts-Posner’s stages of learning interact with the Schema theory. 2. Where does the concept of degrees of freedom fit within this discussion? Question #5 Each of our lessons has incorporated a technology component into learning. Whether it’s feedback systems, digital measurements, or other innovative applications of technology to motor skill learning and performance, we live in a world that is dominated by the application of technology. Identify and evaluate one emerging use of technology used to enhance motor skill learning. Submission Instructions: The length of this Assignment should be 6-8 pages plus the Title and Reference page. APA in-text documentation and end references are required. A minimum of five (5) peer-reviewed scholarly references are required. Also, while this assignment consists of 5 essays, it is still a single paper with 5 essays. You must write it as one paper but use the essay number, such as Question 1 as a heading.
