Identify one important area or issue in the study of Canada and the global political economy that has recently gained public attention or that public policy might seek to remedy. Topics may include, for example, a recent labour-management dispute, migrant labour, low-waged work, union renewal, youth unemployment, the gender/racial/class wage gap, trends in household/caring work, dis/ability, automation, labour market polarization, Indigenous rights, limits imposed by the climate crisis, and others.
