Literature Review: Conduct an APA literature review on a topic in psychology related to the content presented in this course (i.e., research on reasoning and problem-solving). Select the topic based on your own interests.

The purpose of a literature review is to discuss and connect related research in a specific field/topic in order to 1) present an overview of the latest research in the specified area, and 2) identify gaps in the current research and propose new research that might fill those gaps. After you have provided a detailed review of the articles, please propose a case study or an experiment that might fill the gaps in the research and solve currently unanswered questions/problems. You are not expected to conduct the proposed case study/experiment, but instead simply propose a new study based on the research you have reviewed.

Please cite a minimum of 10 credible sources (i.e., peer-reviewed research) and cite all sources using APA format. Please utilize Thomas University library resources to search for relevant research, preferably articles published in peer-reviewed journals. The literature review should be a minimum of 8-10 full double-spaced pages (excluding title page, abstract, references, appendices, tables, figures, etc.) with only one space between paragraphs, standard margins and font, and please avoid excessive wasted space at the top of the first page and the end of the final page. Do not include direct quotes from any of your sources, instead please paraphrase the ideas and concepts presented in these sources.

For your Vocational Assessment Project, you will have to freedom to pick a stranger, friend, or family member to use as your “client.” The Vocational Assessment (or Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA) as it is known in public VR) is an amazing tool used by Rehabilitation Counselors to understand the needs that the client may have. Many times the client is not able to express their needs fully, or they may not understand they have a specific needs that you can assist them with. The CNA will allow you to target key areas to build a case plan for a client which will lead to successful competitive integrated employment. You are required to complete each document provided based on responses from your “client” and then develop a cohesive Vocational Assessment Report that provides the history, abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and best vocational direction for your subject. Your Vocational Assessment Report will follow the format listed in the “Suggested Format for Vocational Assessment Report” document. All areas outlined must be covered. If completed thoroughly, your report should be at least 4 to 6 pages, if not longer as there will be a great deal of material to summarize from your interviews and research. You may reference your text but you are required to utilize at least 4 additional resources such a Professional research journals and professional websites such as the O’Net. Prioritize your searches to current/recent documents (e.g., preferably within the past 10-15 years). STEP 1: For this assignment, youll be keeping track of your sleep habits and your dreams in order to analyze your sleep habits and examine dream theories. To begin, make a copy of .

STEP 2: Keep track of your sleep habits and dreams for a MINIMUM of 3 days.

STEP 3: While its not guaranteed you will remember your dreams, you can take some steps to help. Begin by telling yourself you want to remember your dream, then print off the sleep/dream journal and have your phone or a paper and a pen next to your bed right when you wake up. Try to review the dream in your head as soon as you wake up, and consider specifics such as the people involved, the location and setting, the storyline, or how you felt.

STEP 4: Submit your sleep journal and sleep essay based on the following prompt:

Based on your sleep/dream journal and what you have learned about the purpose for dreaming, write a 1-2 page response (between 250-500 words) about your own sleep habits.

Your essay should include:

1. An analysis of your sleep habits. Do you go to bed at the same time every night? How many hours a night do you normally sleep? Do you notice any patterns?
2. Do your sleep habits need to change? What could you do to be a better sleeper? What concepts from this class apply to your sleep habits?
3. An analysis of your dreams. Why do you usually dream? Are there any patterns or recurring themes?
