*** For my current practice of Ministry in Disciple-making, I am a member of a local church (Harvest Intercontinental, Delaware) in New Castle, Delaware, USA. I’m a Sunday service conductor and an evangelism team member for 3 years. I am building a church in Liberia, West Africa since 2023 to take my discipleship overseas.

After completing the assigned reading, write an APA-formatted essay of at least 500 words where you will explore the biblical figure of Abraham and the covenant God establishes with him in Genesis 12, 15, and 17. You will examine how Abrahams story fits into the larger biblical narrative and what it reveals about Gods plan to restore His kingdom.

Explain the significance of Gods covenant with Abraham in the context of the broader biblical story. Address the following questions:

The Call and Covenant of Abraham

Briefly summarize the key moments in Genesis 12, 15, and 17.

What promises does God make to Abraham?

How do these promises relate to the earlier story of creation and the fall?

Evaluate what it means to be in covenant with God. How does Gods covenant with Abraham help re-establish what was lost in Eden?

Analyze why Abraham is such a central figure in Israels history and theology.

Conclusion

Summarize why the Abrahamic covenant is essential to understanding the Bibles big picture. How does this covenant connect to the coming of Jesus and the restoration of Gods kingdom?

Interview a person from a religious tradition that is not your own. I prefer

that you interview someone Roman Catholic.

This assignment is designed to explore someones spiritual journey from another

religious perspective. This is not an evangelism assignment, and your aim is not to

convert this person. Your goal is to find out as much as possible about what this person

believes, their personal view of the Divine, and their spiritual practices. Be prepared. Do

research on the religion before you go. Construct well-formed questions and take good

notes.

You will turn in a 3-5-page paper explaining the religious worldview of this person and

some evidence of your own reflection on what you have learned in the process. This is

worth 100 points and will be graded on how well you were able to articulate another

persons religious worldview.

Overview

You will create a 1520 slide presentation explaining, comparing, and contrasting the following second language teaching methods: Communicative Language Teaching, Task-Based Language Teaching, Content-Based Language Teaching.
