The purpose of the Project Concept Poster Presentation is to describe your project, covering:

• What your project is about and what you expect to achieve by the end
• Why it is important (e.g., the research problem, the knowledge gap and the impact of your research)
• How you will conduct the project
• The major risks

Ultimately we are considered whether at the end of the presentation we believe you have clearly demonstrated that you understand your research area and that you have a sensible research design.

Your poster must be in A2 paper size and include

Title,

Authors (Student name & ID),

Master programme and project supervisor,

Affiliations (Organisation logos),

Main message in different sections, and

References (Sources of any terminologies, tables, diagrams, pictures, etc. that are not

defined or developed by yourself, and 2-3 key references for the project background

information).

For this discussion, you will be working independently and in small online-groups to analyze an interview transcript. Once the groups have come to agreement about the analysis, one person from the group will need to post the group’s final analysis to this discussion forum. Be sure to begin this exercise early since you need time for your individual work, your group discussion, and the final posting of the group’s analysis. See the syllabus for group-work timeframes. Stop and reflect on the 10-12 research articles collectively. What themes have emerged from your highlighted material? Identify 3 to 4 themes to focus your literature review on. Organize your articles by theme. In some cases, an article could be applicable to multiple themes. A Matrix template is provided below. Begin writing your first theme using the various articles that support that theme. This is the synthesizing process. You are not summarizing your articles one-by-one but rather developing a collective summary of those related to the theme. Do this for each theme.
