  • Research and Analyze Assignment: Death Paper

Everyone has different views on death. Based on religion, culture, or maybe even age, people think differently about what happens when they die. Most people have thought about how they want to die at least once in their life, but some people will think about it constantly. Some may view death as something scary and others may see it as something peaceful. No one truly knows what happens after we die which leaves it open for interpretation, and every single person has a different idea when it comes to their final moments.

Write a 2-page paper in APA format (abstract page not required) on your concept of death answering the following questions:

    • How do you view death?
    • Who are the people you want to be with during your last hours?
    • And, how would you plan your funeral?
  • final

Below you will find 2 questions; each needs to be an essay, answered separately and defined (Question 1…), each needs to be at least 500 words, typed and double spaced, left justified, with 1″ margins, and 12 point font. You need to use a normal font, like Arial or Times New Roman, nothing funky! You will need to use information from the textbook, modules, and may use the Internet with great discretion. Be sure to cite your sources!!! Please put your name, the CRN, and the title of your paper on the top left hand side of your paper. Make sure you submit your paper in Word. You also need to submit your work on time, as late papers will not be accepted either; we have a very short time to get our grades done and posted.

Question 1: Given what you learned in this course, who do you think contributed the most to American history (up until 1865) and who do you think was the worst villain in our history (up until 1865)? Why did you choose those people?

Question 2: Discuss the events that led up to the French Indian War and George Washington’s part in it.

    1. You will need a bibliography (works cited) page and footnotes/endnotes. Unless you are a history major, you may use the MLA format for both. If you are a history major, you will need to use the Chicago Manual style. Both can be found at the Purdue Owl.
    2. Do NOT plagiarize. Do NOT use AI. Everything must be in your own words; do not paraphrase someone elses work and try to pass it off as your own. That is still plagiarism, and you will fail if you do so. Your papers must be written in Microsoft Word format, if they are submitted in any other format they will not be accepted, and you will receive a 0 for the assignment. Be sure to run your paper through Turnitin and fix any accidental plagiarism!
    3. You may use 2-3 short quotes (1 sentence each) per paragraph, provided that at least 90% of your paper is original work.
    4. If you have any questions please email me; I will be happy to assist you whenever necessary!

Do you believe that whites or non-whites are more encouraged to play professional sports by agents of socialization, including their peers, family members, people in their educational experience, and in the media? Are there certain sports that certain races are more encouraged to pursue? If so, why do you think this occurs? Explain your position using at least one example to support your discussion. Or, 2. What is the connection between student and athlete among most of todays college sporting teams? Do you think that most people involved, including coaches, players, and fans, focus more on the athletic or academic achievements of athletes? If you believe the latter is true, do you think it is appropriate to pay college athletes? How does your current understanding of the social construction of race in America contribute to your decision, if at all? Explain. Or, 3. With a larger proportion of non-white players in sports like baseball, basketball, and football, logically it would also make sense that non-white owners and head coaches would also increase. However, this is not the case. What social barriers exist that prevent non-whites from becoming owners of teams? What social barriers exist that prevent non-whites from becoming head coaches? Do you think it is necessary to have racial inclusivity at the highest levels of sporting management? Why or why not?
