For your written assignment, you will complete an experiential reflection activity where you will be the target of persuasion by a professional salesperson. The goal is to analyze your experience critically. Follow these steps: 1. Identify a Situation: Choose a specific scenario in which you expect to encounter a person or people using persuasive techniques. This could be a sales pitch at a store, a fundraising event, or any situation where you find that persuasion is happening. Make sure you choose a situation that is safe. 2. Engage in the Experience: Put yourself in the situation you identified. Do NOT put yourself in any dangerous situations! During this persuasion encounter, behave as naturally as possible. 3. Write an Analytical Reflection Paper: After the experience, write a reflective essay that analyzes the following: The persuasive techniques used by the salesperson or expert. What happened? Each student will individually write a paper over a relevant maternal-infant nursing topic that is addressed by a Healthy People 2030 objective. Healthy People 2030 objectives are available at concept chosen must be appropriate and relevant to maternal-infant nursing. The purpose of this assignment is three-fold: to thoroughly research a topic of interest relating to maternal-infant nursing; to synthesize the information found; and to then draw inferences about the concept.

This paper is expected to be short, succinct, focused, and developed on the chosen topic. The student can adequately address the criteria in 3-5 pages, excluding the title and reference pages. Any two groups of people rarely are precisely the same. In inferential statistics, it is essential to understand how groups are different from one another. We learned one way when we discussed measures of central tendency. Another way groups can be different is by how much variability within the group.
