Water is everywhere. We are composed of 60-70% water. The earth’s surface is about 71% water (https://water.usgs.gov/edu/earthhowmuch.html). Every day our bodies lose water and we must replace it (Lecture 7). Most of us are fortunate enough to have access to running water. Why is drinking water such big business these days? Choose one of the following topics to kick off your main post:

    • Water requirements: The risks of dehydration vs. water intoxication (expand on Lecture 7)
    • Vitamin Water – is there any benefit and are there potential risks?
    • Alkaline Water – a trend these days. Is this really beneficial?
    • Electrolyte water such as Gatorade
    • Which is better – tap water or bottled water

Your two required replies should address topics other than the one you chose for your main post. Add more replies if you choose.

  • Customer Churn Prediction Using Multiple Classification Mode…

Follow the guidelines in the attached Word document. The chosen dataset for this case study is the Telco Customer Churn dataset used in Case Study 1, and the models Nave Bayes and Decision Tree from Case Study 1 will be reused. Using Weka, run four classification models: Nave Bayes, Decision Tree, kNN, and one additional model (Random Forest, Logistic Regression, or SVM). Perform kNN tuning with different k values and hyperparameter tuning for the new model. Evaluate all models using Stratified 10-fold Cross-Validation and report results as mean standard deviation (or confidence interval). Provide confusion matrices, Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1, ROC/AUC, and Lift/Gains, and compare the models using statistical tests (Friedman and Wilcoxon). Include screenshots from Weka and present results in tables and graphs in a 1013 page report, ending with a conclusion, one limitation, and one improvement idea.

Please include the (Turnitin) AI report with the final submission. Reports without it cannot be accepted.

  • Senior Thesis Annotated Bibliography

Senior Thesis Annotated Bibliography Instructions (make sure all of this is followed):

This exercise is an exercise in preliminary research to give you a taste of the conversation

    surrounding your text.

Instructions: Locate, read, and create an annotated bibliography entry for THREE sources of

information pertaining to your book. Please use MLA style. Annotations should be listed

alphabetically. (Think of it as a works cited page, with a paragraph description beneath each

    citation).

An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to books, articles, and documents. Each citation is

followed by a brief (usually about 200-350 words) descriptive and evaluative paragraph, the

annotation. The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and

    quality of the sources cited.

While reading through the sources, answer the following questions. Then convert your questions

into one, cohesive paragraph (for a grand total of 3 paragraphs). Make sure you write your final

annotations in a clear and concise manner. Follow MLA formatting.

    1. Start by creating a citation (MLA citation like you usually do)

    2. Introduce your article by letting your reader know the type and credibility of the source

(in 1-2 sentences): Who wrote it? What type of publication is it? What type of audience is

    it written for?

    3. Summarize and analyze the content of the source (in 3-7 sentences).

    a. What is the author arguing? (Remember not to plagiarize, paraphrase and cite the

    page number of their thesis).

    b. How does the author support this argument?

    c. Apply your analysis: Was it a good argument, was it useful? (3-5 sentences).

    i. Does the author clearly explain his/her argument? How so? What in

    particular made it clear/unclear?

ii. Do you agree with argument made in the article? Why or why not?

iii. Was this article useful to your own research? If not, what type of

research may it be useful for?

My Book is: As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner

-all I have right now is my proposal so I will attach that in the file (please use this so you know what this should be about)

Please follow all instructions the directions are asking. In terms of sources if you use a secondary source, it HAS to be from a credible source, not Wikipedia, random blog pages, or fake news websites.

Paper #2 Assignment: Fiction Length: minimum 1,500-2,000 words Format: MLA Directions: write a well-organized and developed paper on one of the options below. Develop and focus the paper on an overall, central, narrow thesis so that you are making a clear argument, not presenting a list or general idea. In other words, avoid plot summary and have a clear point. Option 1: Referencing Carine Pereira Marquess What Is In a Name?: Dislocation and Relocation in The Namesake, explore the importance of Gogols naming and renaming processes throughout the novel. How does Gogols name make his immigrant story different from that of his parents, or even his sister? What larger themes does Lahiri seem to suggest with Gogols naming journey? Incorporate evidence and discussion from both Lahiris novel and Marquess article. Option 2: Using Rudra Prasad Paudels Unhomely Home: Cultural Encounter of Diaspora in Jhumpa Lahiris The Namesake, discuss how Lahiri uses the journey of the Ganguli family (and the journeys of its individual members) to explore the complicated nature of constructing personal identity as an immigrant. Offer evidence from and discussion of both Lahiris novel and Paudels article. Option 3: Using Deirdre F. Bakers Present Tensions, or Its All Happening Now, as a starting point, explore Lahiris use of the present tense to narrate the Gangulis story. How does narrating events as they happen affect how we interpret these events? provide evidence from and discussion of both Lahiris novel and Bakers article. Also, incorporate relevant quotes/paraphrases from one additional source from the Cerro Coso databases that add to your argument. Requirements 1500-2000 words. A clearly articulated and fully supported argument. This includes a well-defined thesis statement placed in the introductory paragraph and fully developed supporting paragraphs that include plenty of good supporting details and examples. Plenty of evidence to support your argument. Introduce and discuss evidence from Lahiri’s novel and the source listed in your chosen option above (Marques, Paudel, or Baker), and include appropriate quotations and paraphrase to support your ideas. Proper MLA formatting. This includes proper placement and punctuation of class information, in-text citations, and Works Cited page. An intriguing, appropriate, and creative title properly capped and centered.
