    Job Summary

    The International Office Student Volunteer supports the International Programs and Services

    Office (IPSO) in providing services and resources to prospective, incoming, and current

    international students. This position assists with administrative tasks, stu

    dent support services,

    admissions

    related processes for the Intensive English Language Program (IELP), and

    International Office events. This role helps advance IPSOs mission to promote international

    student success and engagement within the Fresno Pacific

    University community.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Provide front

    desk support by greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing inquiries

    to appropriate staff

    Assist with administrative and clerical tasks including filing, copying, typing, mailing,

    and data entry

    Support email communication, including mass emails to current international students

    Assist current students by answering general questions and scheduling appointments with

    the PDSO

    Respond to inquiries related to the Intensive English Language Program (IELP)

    Assist with reviewing incoming IELP applications and preparing files for admissions

    review

    Follow up with prospective applicants regarding application requirements and completion

    Communicate with IELP faculty to coordinate meetings and provide program support as

    needed

    Support International Office events such as orientation, registration, and related programs

    Assist with IPSO activities, retreats, and International Club events

    Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of International

    Office operations

    Required Qualifications

    Currently enrolled Fresno Pacific University student

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    Basic computer skills (email, word processing, data entry)

    Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

    Reliable, organized, and detail

    oriented

    Preferred Qualifications

    Interest in international education or student services

    Experience working in an office or customer service environment

    Cross

    cultural awareness or experience working with diverse populations
