Community Partnership template
Choose a community in Chicago that is important to you personally. It may be a community where you live or where you work, or it could be a community where people you care about live or work. Research the community from a variety of perspectives. Plan a collaborative project for your chosen community. Your plan will provide opportunities for young children, families, and early childhood staff to collaborate with members, agencies, or organizations in the community (e.g., sharing information about or organizing visits to libraries or museums, participating in community events, visiting fire houses, helping children get to know their neighborhood, and partnering with other programs and schools to support child and family confidence and continuity during transitions). Purpose Educators take care to learn about the community in which they work, and they use the community as a resource across all aspects of program delivery. The community serves as an important resource for implementing the curriculum as well as a resource for linking families with a range of services based on identified priorities and concerns. Early childhood educators also look for ways that they can contribute to the ongoing development of the community (DAP: Engaging in Reciprocal Partnerships with Families and Fostering Community Connections). The purpose of this assignment is to learn more about one neighborhood in Chicago, and design a project that creates opportunities for young children and their families, and early childhood educators and staff to build collaborative partnerships with one agency, organization, or community member in their community. Student Learning Outcomes Plan experiences that build respectful, reciprocal partnerships between early learning settings and community organizations/agencies. Content strategy for digital platforms
Instructions Many organizations have a goal to create an attractive consumer user experience on a digital platform to retain customers and generate new traffic. They may think the goal is best achieved through using technology to leverage owned and licensed content or content created by its users for exploitation on a digital platform they control within different technology spaces. For this assignment, assume the role of an adviser to the Vice President of Operations (VPO) at a small digital start-up or an organization of your choice looking to leverage content for viewing on their digital app, which is available on over-the-top (OTT) devices, mobile devices, gaming consoles, and connected smart televisions. Your organization of choice can be the same organization that you opt to focus on in your final assessment for this course. Use the Position Memorandum assignment templateLinks to an external site. to write a 3- to 4-page standard corporate-style memorandum that takes a clear and unambiguous position advising the VPO to leverage one of these approaches to content type: user-generated content, or professionally-produced content on the new platform, or a hybrid of both forms of content on this new platform Justify your position clearly and include the following components in your analysis: A description of the proposed content option you selected, including what the content could look like or be comprised of (e.g., professional films and television shows, long-form content such as YouTube, short-form content like TikTok, more polished yet still user-generated long-form content like Vimeo) Determine if the primary focus of the content would be device-based, vertical-focused content (e.g., shorts), or horizontal traditional type of content with formatting and themes The potential cost and/or savings of using one form of content option versus another form for the platform Categorize the necessary distribution rights needed to achieve content exploitation through this application for the proposed type and forms of content Relevant barriers to entry that exist in creating and operating this platform service (e.g., costs, marketing, user uptake, content rights, user rights, churn) At least one example or other research to support all of your positions and suggestions. Provide cited references to supporting authority. Formatting Style: Your memorandum should be presented in narrative form, using complete sentences and paragraphs. The tone of this memo should read like an internal corporate memorandum at a large company or internal white paper, not an email or other informal communication. Length: Your paper should be 3-4 pages maximum in length. The page count does not include a references page. Points will be deducted for papers that exceed the specified length (see rubric below for more details). APA Formatting: Adhere to the Style GuideLinks to an external site. for headers, spacing (double spaced), and citations. Other tips: You can use the Writing Essentials ChecklistLinks to an external site. as a guide for improving your writing.Attached Files (PDF/DOCX): DMM 515 Position Memorandum Assignment Template_v12.pdf

Courtroom security
For this assignment, you will develop a threat assessment questionnaire and then apply it to evaluate a court building’s security at its points of access.
First, view the following virtual courthouse tour:
Matterport. (n.d.). . Able Eyes. https://discover.matterport.com/space/9ZPtxwwR9XK
Explore the links within the tour to become familiar with the courthouse. Note: From the starting location, use your mouse to rotate the view 180 degrees, and you will see the main entrance. You can use the same method throughout the building to see other possible access points. There are controls at the bottom of the screen that give you additional views of the courthouse, including a floor plan and measurements. There are also clickable areas that open up additional information about certain sections.
Next, you will create a courtroom threat questionnaire that specifically examines the points of access to the virtual courthouse. Your questionnaire must contain 10 to 15 questions and must address the main entrance and at least one other possible point of access (Hint: look for the emergency exit doors).
Your assessment (below) must follow your questionnaire and must also address each of the following regarding points of access security:
- What are the strengths?
- What are the vulnerabilities?
- Identify the specific responsibilities of courthouse personnel in access areas.
- What technology is currently being used or available to harden the areas?
- Identify at least two types of technology that, if used, could further harden the areas.
- What additional resources or personnel would be needed to increase security in this area?
Your written questionnaire must be at least one full page followed by your assessment answers to the questions above. You must use at least one source in addition to the virtual tour to support your assessment. All sources used must have APA Style in-text citations and references.

Tayana Bowes
In this Epidemiology assignment, you will develop the beginning skills you will need as a Masters prepared nurse to identify trends in large data sets that illustrate a public health emergency affecting a particular population and the social determinants of health (SDoH) that place that population at risk.
- Follow the assignment instructions below and confer with your fellow team members to ensure that you do not overlap populations, geographic regions, and databases within your group. This individual assignment will provide information useful for your team assignment.
Your team has identified a public health emergency and a related health condition. Explore the available data to show the impact of that issue on a particular population; use the epidemiologic data to discuss the SDoH that places that population at particular risk.
- Public Health Population-based Issue (10 pts)
- Identify the public health emergency and a related health concern.
- Contextualize your identification by explaining the magnitude of the problem and the population you have selected to focus on. Provide a thorough explanation of the problem’s significance to clinical practice.
- Explain why this problem and population is important and of interest to you.
- Interpreting the data (40 pts)
- Explore data sources (large databases) that provide information about the population, the issue, and the SDoH (examples of these databases are listed below).
- Present an overview of the data, including trends in populations or geographic regions over time.
- Describe the health picture that emerges from the data. Identify how the SDoH fit into that health picture.
- Discuss issues regarding social justice and health inequities in the population that you have selected. Explain your response and support your writing using references from the readings and additional scholarly material.
- Create a table or figure (20)
- Using the data you extracted from the databases examined, create or adapt a table or figure to illustrate the demographics of the population of interest, the incidence, prevalence, and morbidity or mortality related to the public health issue (as applicable), and data concerning at least one SDoH that places the subject population at risk for this public health issue.
- Include the table(s) or figure(s) as an appendix, not in the body of your paper. Appendices do not count toward the page limit.
- Trends in the data can be illustrated over time, or over geographic differences.
- Make your table or figure easy to read: use clear labeling, colors (if appropriate) and fonts. Consult Chapter 7 in the APA Manual for requirements for formatting the title, caption and citations for the table/figure. NOTE: you must cite the original source of your data in the caption of your table/figure.
- Epidemiologic Model (20 pts)
- Using the supporting examples of epidemiologic models, identify a model that fits your topic well.
- Define the model, including the concepts and the relationships among them.
- Apply the components of the model you selected to the health problem you identified. *Include a referenced graphic figure of the model as an appendix.
- Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of this model concerning your chosen public health topic.
- Scholarship, writing and APA (10 points)
- Writing includes correct sentence structure, grammar, spelling, and proofreading.
- All sections must include citations from the readings and additional scholarly literature.
- Formatting (including writing style) adheres to APA 7th edition guidelines. Pay special attention to the formatting requirements for tables, figures, and appendices.
- 5-page limit not inclusive of title page, references, and appendices (do not include an abstract).
Tip to write this paper:
- Use headings to break up your text (and best to use the same names for the sections as in the assignment). It will keep you on target and prevent you from leaving out any section.
- Do not copy an existing table. Instead use the data included in one, or many tables, to create your own figure or table depicting the trends in the data.
- Epidemiologic models exist to explain the causal relationships between factors that lead to a particular health outcome. The models reflect different scientific approaches or perspectives on health. The Epidemiologic Triad, for instance, represents a contagious disease approach. Others you might use include Causal Pies or the Social-Ecological model.
- Use your assigned readings, and other additional articles to support your ideas.
