Context for the learning plan:

-I am doing my practicum at my employer. Valley Hope, which is a substance use treatment center

-I work as an intensive outpatient counselor (IOP). I facilitate telehealth groups and individual sessions.

-My practicum is focused on PP&A and not Clinical. PP&A is policy, planning and administration.

-I am part of a team opening up a new outpatient facility in Columbia, MO

-This facility has not opened yet, but we are in the works on putting together programming, policies, and utilizing problem solving.

-I am learning from leadership and my supervisior how this process goes, as well as continuing my role as a counselor.

• Select from one of the following case vignette outlined below. I choose the case study for this paper. A male aged (70 years old) married man was admitted to hospital following seizures.
