  • Music research paper Pink Floyd

use the book Rockin in Time by David Szatmary as a source.

I also need the 1st page with a reference at least within 24 hours from hire

The topic for the paper is Pink Floyd. Please use a 12 size font and “double space” your writing. A 5 page minimum means 5 complete pages of actual research paper plus your works cited page. Wikipedia may not be used as a source.

Every paraphrased sentence needs a source at the end of the sentence. Every quotation needs to be cited properly. Unless your sentence is your own original thought, idea, or observation, you need to credit a published author for that information. Prior knowledge about a band/artist is still considered “paraphrased information” because that information came from somewhere else or someone else originally. Please go through the “Research Paper Checklist” to avoid common mistakes.

    Here are a few examples:

I think Def Leppard is an awesome band. (No source is needed at the end of the sentence, because that is “what I think”.

Def Leppard started in Sheffield, England. (source..?)

This paraphrased sentence needs a source at the end of the sentence.

If you are using the Internet for information, that was published by someone else. There is nothing wrong with paraphrasing (rewriting another author’s work in your own words) as long as you put a source at the end of each and every paraphrased sentence.

    Here is another simple example:

Paul McCartney played bass for The Beatles. (This needs a source also. I know this and you might also know this, but the information came from somewhere else originally. Unless you were a member of The Beatles, you can’t write that Paul McCartney was their bass player without sourcing it.)

Please do a spelling/grammar check and proofread your paper before you turn it in. If you submit your paper through Canvas early, I will grade the version that you submit.

  • Reflection paper

    Reflection Paper

This paper is a summation of the project completed over the course of the semester. The paper should have four sections:

    1) What did you learn about accounting through this project?

    2) Within the project, we have a transaction with dividends being declared and paid on the

same day. This is not the usual process. Explain the three major dates associated with

dividends and the journal entries that would be created on those dates.

    3) Craft the memo you will send to Pat about the errors you found during the reviews.

    a. Pick three distinctive errors Pat made and explain what Pat did incorrectly, and

based on the rules of debits and credits, along with US GAAP, how it should be

corrected. Be sure to do this in a way for Pat to understand.

    b. Using your best leadership tools, discuss your expectations of Pat going forward

    with this new knowledge.

    4) Using research, discuss the ramifications for a company that does not find these errors

and releases financial statements with errors.

This paper should be no longer than 4 pages (excluding the cover page and references), using

APA formatting. No executive summary is needed for the paper, all other APA rules are

    required.

Please note that since section 1 and 3 are reflective and directive sections, please feel free to use

    I in that section.

Each section will be graded towards grammar, spelling, structure, APA.

  • Module 6: Critical Thinking

    Instructions

Do not write a hypothetical history of what if this happened. That is not the purpose of the Portfolio. Rather:

    • Research an event in US History from Early Industrialization to 1877. In brief detail describe the intent of the event, action, movement, legislation, persons life, conflict, conquest, exploration, etc.
    • Analyze and explain the intended results. What was the intended results?
    • Then evaluate the unintended consequences that developed. Explain in detail the unintended consequences supported with primary sources, and scholarly research.
    • Present at least 2 unintended consequences with the primary source quotes and references to support your evaluation.

For example, the Indian Removal Act. Originally, it was designed to resolve the Indian question the U.S. had been asking since the French and Indian War. What to do with an indigenous population within the borders of a sovereign country? However, the Act had unintended and significant consequences. It divided the country. opened more lands for cotton production causing an increase in slavery, and devastated the Native American population east of the Mississippi River. It is a stain on Americas history.

Primary sources include Diaries, journals, letters, official documents, newspapers, periodicals, oral histories and interviews, maps. Primary sources are directly related to the topic. Strong academic sources include peer reviewed journal, academic papers, etc. CSU Library has organized a cite to begin your research for primary sources

A note on primary sources -If it is a law or legislation, the primary sources must be in addition to the law or legislation. For example, the Emancipation Proclamation or Kansas-Nebraska Act will not count towards the primary sources. The primary sources must be about the acts/legislation at that time. For example, the Indian Removal Act is a substantial piece of government legislation. It can be included, but Davie Crocketts condemnation of it in a letter and/or Andrew Jacksons speech about its passage would meet the requirement for a primary source.
