All questions have multiple sections. Each section should take at least 1 paragraph. The length of the response to a question will depend on the parts of the question. Paragraphs are made up of between 5-10 sentences. This establishes a minimum expectation for your

sections of the question. use in text citation Answer the following questions:
1. Why is it important to consider biological factors and individual traits in the explanation for crime and delinquency? Offer at least two reasons (do not use Lombrosos theory). In addition, discuss why a complete understanding of crime and delinquency requires a consideration of biological factors, individual traits and the social environment (do not use Lombrosos theory). Use and cite relevant assigned articles, videos, and class notes. To receive full credit, address all parts of the question.
2. Some of the theories covered so far, argue that some people learn to engage in criminal behavior. Some of these theories are micro or individual level theories while others are macro or group level explanations. 1. Locate a video of a classical music concert. Rock concerts or any other concerts associated with popular music are not appropriate for this assignment. Watch the entire concert from beginning to end.
You are responsible for locating a video yourself. Here are some ideas about where to look:
Choose a concert video from YouTube.
Peruse the public library’s collection of DVDs.
Because of COVID-19, many wonderful performing organizations from around the world live streamed and archived their performances free of charge. If you are interested in watching one of these performances, you may choose a concert from the list at .
If you are not sure whether a concert would be appropriate, please email me to ask.
If you would like to attend a live performance of a classical music concert in lieu of watching a video, you may do so.
2. Type up a 2-page paper (double-spaced) using the attached rubric as a guide. To view the rubric, click on the blue “Concert Review Rubric” link below.
Note: The rubric is written in such a way that assumes students are attending live performances. Therefore, if any items included on the rubric are not applicable to your video (e.g. your livestreamed video may not contain audience members), indicate that in your paper.
Plagiarism is stealing. It will not be tolerated and will result in an automatic 0. If you copy more than five consecutive words of somebody else’s writing into your writing without including quotes and citations, it will be considered plagiarism.

Instructions: You will need to submit research paper topic for approval by no later than the end of third week. You have considerable freedom in choosing a topic. The requirement is that you choose a topic that requires academic research not business research and that you submit both your paper topic (which should not contain question) and a full paragraph statement, that statement must contain a research question to be answered or a hypothesis to be tested. Most “why” questions focus more on workplace related issues and business not academic or scholarly research so they seldom are acceptable questions for scholarly research. Submission Instructions: Please submit your title and a paragraph describing the topic. Remember, the topic must be directly related to this course or the topic will be denied. If the topic is unacceptable, your professor will contact you with further directions. *Subject: Emergency Response & Incident Management -How first responders use the Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG) Explain isolation distances, protective actions, and initial response priorities. -Case studies of major hazmat accidents Analyze what went wrong and what changed afterward (e.g., train derailments, chemical spills). -Environmental consequences of hazmat incidents Longterm soil, water, and air impacts from spills or explosions.
