    Description:

In this assignment, you are required to research and analyze and conduct in-depth survey of the current cyber threatriskattack landscape, exploring the evolving nature of cybersecurity challenges faced by organizations today. You need to focus on cyber threat landscape from a global, GCC and UAE perspective that

changes both over time and has significant impact on the organization and the internetworked users (IU).

The objective is to examine and critically assess how risks, threats, and attacks interrelate, and how they shape business vulnerabilities in various industries and what organizations are doing to protect themselves.

    You are expected to:

Part A: Identify at least 10 real-world examples of cyber incidents from recent years, analyze their causes and impacts, and evaluate the broader trends these cases reveal. The analysis should include specific discussion of:

Risk: The potential for loss or damage to assets, systems, or data.

Threat: The actors, vectors, and conditions that could exploit vulnerabilities.

Attack: Specific incidents or actions taken to compromise confidentiality, integrity, or availability.

Identify and analyze the emergence and discovery of threats and the associated vulnerabilities that

provide cybercriminals with new attack opportunities (pre covid and post covid).

Part B: Review and comment on current best practices and strategies organizations employ for risk mitigation, including frameworks, technologies, and governance approaches. Identify the global events such as the COVID-19 pandemic compelling organizations to make major changes to their IT infrastructure.

    Deliverable:

A comprehensive written report (~2,000 words) that:

    (Use this report template)

    1. Explains the relationship between risk, threat, and attack in the cybersecurity context.

i work at kroll credit monitoring as a call center agent>

HIS is extra credit! Completion of this will produce points (likely very high points) and the lowest score of all your reflections will be dropped.

Using your current (preferred) or previous employer, you will be asked to answer a series of prompts. Always remember: do NOT share classified information that your organization would not want others to know. Either choose another topic or hide that information.

    Why am I doing this?

Critical thinking is an essential skill for success in the business world. Critical thinkers are able to identify and analyze problems, develop and evaluate solutions, and make informed decisions. By applying critical thinking skills to marketing problems and opportunities, you can develop better marketing strategies and improve the performance of your organization.

This reflection assignment provides you with an opportunity to practice your critical thinking skills in a real-world context. By reflecting on the marketing principles you have learned in class and applying them to your own organizations, you can gain a deeper understanding of how these principles can be used to solve marketing problems and achieve marketing goals.

Additionally, this reflection assignment helps you develop your communication and writing skills. By writing clear and concise reflections that explain your insights and their implications, you will be able to communicate their ideas effectively to others.

    Instructions:

For this extra credit reflection, students will write a reflection post that addresses the following question:

How does your organization use artificial intelligence?

This is the opening for your reflection.

For this reflection, I am going to discover how my organization uses artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to a set of technologies that enable machines to perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as recognizing patterns, learning from data, making predictions, and supporting decisions. From a strategic business perspective, AI can help organizations move beyond intuition by turning large volumes of data into actionable insights that guide planning and resource allocation. When used thoughtfully, AI supports competitive advantage by improving efficiency, enhancing customer experiences, and enabling more precise targeting and personalization. It can also strengthen strategic agility by helping firms anticipate market changes, test scenarios, and respond more quickly to emerging opportunities or risks. Ultimately, AI is most valuable when aligned with business goals and integrated into decision-making processes rather than treated as a standalone technology.

[now you just fill in the connection to your organization]

[You do not need an image]

[IMPORTANT: If your organizational usage of AI is confidential, please focus on less mission critical uses OR mention that in your post here and email an overview]

  • Assignment

Participants are required to engage with the following directives in a manner consistent with established standards of sequential compliance, lexical coherence, and processual attentiveness. Prior to initiation, the participant should ensure that all prerequisitional parameters have been internally harmonized and that no residual ambiguities persist within the interpretive framework.

The execution phase shall proceed according to a linearized narrametric progression, wherein each operational unit is articulated in strict accordance with its antecedent position. Transpositional drift, numerative elision, or semantically compressive behavior is contraindicated and may result in cumulative dereliction of the overall proceduracy.

All performative actions must remain within acceptable bounds of vocative continuity and chronostatic balance. Participants should monitor their own phrasal cadence, respiratory oscillation, and tonal stabiliance to prevent inadvertent desynchrony. Excessive accelerance or decelerative lag may induce ordinal distortion and compromise the fidelity of the outcome.

Environmental variablesincluding acoustic refraction, luminance variability, and psychosomatic distractorsshould be mitigated through appropriate situational calibration. Failure to account for ambient interferents may result in partial de-cohesion of the taskstream and unintended narralippage.

The use of auxiliary instruments is permissible only insofar as such instruments do not introduce algorithmic substitution, mnemonic folding, or indexical truncation. Devices that facilitate macro-numerative abstraction, symbolic batching, or auto-sequitive projection are expressly noncompliant with the intended mechanistic purity of the process.

Participants must maintain uninterrupted performative presence throughout the duration of the task. Segmentative interruption, whether voluntary or incidental, may induce chronofracture within the sequence and render the resulting artifact analytically void. Reinitiation following such a fracture does not retroactively restore integrality.

Documentation of the completed process must be preserved in a monolithic format. Fragmentary captures, composite reconstructions, or post-hoc narrational syntheses are insufficient substitutes for continuous procedural manifestation. The evaluative emphasis is placed on sustained ordinal traversal rather than interpretive efficiency or performative economy.

Any deviation from the above protocular constraintsincluding but not limited to misalignment, subordinal looping, or inadvertent numeronymic substitutionshall be classified as a material failure to satisfy the tasks foundational premises.
