What do you think would be the most intelligent policy for the U.S. to take toward Cuba today? What goals would you set for that policy?

See Appendix 2 for questions. Students are expected to complete two (2) essays and should choose one (1) essay from Part A and another from Part B of the Appendix. Topical Essay 1 is due on Sunday, March 1. Topical Essay 2 is due on Sunday, April 12. Each essay should be between 10 12 pages and have an attached reference page. Proper citation and referencing is expected. Chicago style is the preferred choice but MLA and APA will be accepted with a note of this made somewhere on the paper. Avoid the use of personal pronouns, such as “me,” “I,” “myself.” Also, do not use contractions, such as cant, wouldve, hell. This is informal writing, which is not to be found in scholarly work. Write out the words cannot, would have, he will. Use Twelve (12) point Times New Roman Font and 1 inch margins. (A must!!!). Essays must be submitted to BlackBoard using the Topical Paper Folder on the Assignments page by the date specified no later than 11:59pm on their respective due dates. Late papers will not be accepted; you will receive an F for the assignment if the paper cannot be delivered on time. There are NO MAKE-UPS for the missed assignment.
