For this assignment, you will be required to watch the Netflix documentary called The Social Dilemma, which discusses the effects of social media and search platforms (i.e., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Tiktok, etc.) on our behavior, decision making, and mental health. Once you watch the documentary, write a 1-2 page reflection paper discussing your thoughts about social media and whether it has changed since watching this film. Discuss your own social media use and any subsequent behavior changes. Include in your reflection how you see the interaction between psychology, mental health, and social media intersect in your life. Be sure to think about cultural differences or perceptions of social media use. Take notes while watching and be sure to refer to the rubric and assignment while viewing.

Keep in mind this is a reflection paper that should be in your own words. It will be submitted via Turnitin which will check for plagiarism. If the percentage is above 2% you will not get credit for the paper. Please be advised that using AI writing will increase the chances of your paper being flagged for plagiarism.

Here is a guideline for APA student paper format. For this assignment, tables and figures are not required. Please incorporate a title page and reference page (be sure to look up how to cite a documentary in APA style) as practice for the research paper.
