For this discussion board I want you to review the article readings and the videos in the module.

Remember your initial response is due by Thursday at 11:59 PM. You also need to respond to at least two other students. The two student responses are due by Sunday at 11:59 PM. Your initial response must be a minimum of 250 words. Responses to fellow students must be a minimum of 100 words.

For this discussion board you are to select one article (Only 1) or the videos and write a discussion board post on your impression or interpretation of the item. What did you get out of it, what are your thoughts, impressions etc.

1. If you did listen to the songs in the videos, what was your interpretation, how did they make you feel, what were your thoughts etc. What were the differences or similarities?
2. If you selected the article on the Journal of the female pioneer, what were your thoughts, interpretations, or how would you feel in that situation? What are your interpretations of women in the west according to the article?
3. How does the article on diversity of cowboy’s change, challenge, or reinforce your perception of cowboys in the West? What can you take from the article or did anything stand out to you?
4. If you selected the excerpts from Empire of the Summer Moon, what is your interpretation of the Comanche? How did they use Horses as technology?
