  • Writing Question

    Description:

We’re starting the big paper! Well, we are using the research that we annotated from the Annotated Bibliography to start the big paper. Truly this is one giant project spread across 16 weeks.

I am asking for you to write this paper in separate parts, compile and edit the final draft, and then, consider it finished.

For this assignment, you must complete and upload the following sections:

    • Background
    • Argument
    • Methodology

Your final paper needs to be either 6500 words or 15 double spaced pages. You are writing the paper in 2 parts, and then combining, revising, and editing. [Please note that these are guidelines]

I do not have a firm number of words that each section needs to be. I do, however, have expectations for the quality of work that you produce. You must have:

    • many APA citations [basically constant APA citations] in your Background section, references at least 8 of the articles that you annotated
    • a clear argument regarding something ongoing in your future field, which has arisen from your research
    • an explanation of your methodology — how did you gather, evaluate, and compile information?

Please just start writing your paper.

    Requirements:

    • Includes the three sections listed above
    • Has consistent APA-formatted in-text citations and a working References page.
    • Part 2
    • Description: We’re in the thick of it now! You are finishing the first draft of your Results and Discussion sections of your research paper. As you hopefully know from reading so many research articles, a “Results” section is generally (relatively) brief, just a few paragraphs of what you actually found. And the “Discussion” section is where the party happens! In the discussion, you talk about implications, applications, future research, fun tangents, and the things that you want your audience to take away from your study. You can speculate [within reason], look into the future, and tie your ideas to others. As such, the Discussion section might also bring in more research. You need:
      • a cohesive Results section which outlines what you found
      • a jazzy Discussion section which shows your critical thinking, creativity, and connecting skills — this is showbiz!

      Requirements:

      • include Results and Discussion sections
      • include updated References page
      • continue to cite your sources in APA format

Description: Here, you will put the two parts of the paper together, ensure it is at least 15 double spaced pages or 6500 words, not including the References page, complete APA formatting on the entire paper, and complete an abstract. You will also, I cannot implore you enough, revise and edit your paper before turning it in here. I require drafts so that even if you find yourself staring at this assignment box at 9:30 p.m., having done absolutely nothing, and sprint your way to the finish line without the opportunity to reflect, revise, consider, etc., you are still going to have the chance to take what you have done and reconsider it again for the final paper. However, I sometimes will spend my time pointing out issues in student writing — lack of topic sentences, lack of action verbs, repetitive “wordy” words… and students will say, “Oh yeah, I didn’t edit it.” To which I say — I’m going to need you to do that! You can’t respond to all criticism with “oh well, I just didn’t do the work.” Make sure that your work flows from one idea to the next, and builds upon itself. Follow your threads of logic. Read your paper aloud. Check each body paragraph for the kinds of structures that we have discussed in class. Your research should point toward a new understanding of information in your field, and move toward your intended audience (an academic conference). Requirements:

      • Roughly 15 double-spaced pages, not including the References page, abstract, or cover page
      • APA formatted, which includes formatting, the cover page, a complete abstract, References page [corrected formatted!], APA-formatted in text citations, and header
      • Includes section headers
      • Body paragraphs attempt academic paragraph guidelines

    Episodic Visit: Gastrointestinal Focused Note

For this Assignment, you will work with a patient with a gastrointestinal condition that you examined during the last three weeks. You will complete your second Episodic/Focused Note Template Form for this course where you will gather patient information, relevant diagnostic and treatment information, and reflect on health promotion and disease prevention in light of patient factors, such as age, ethnic group, PMH, socioeconomic, cultural background, etc. In this weeks Learning Resources, please review the Focused Note resources for guidance on writing Focused Notes.

Note: All Focused Notes must be signed, and each page must be initialed by your preceptor. When you submit your Focused Notes, you should include the complete Focused Note as a Word document and pdf/images of each page that is initialed and signed by your preceptor. You must submit your Focused Notes using Turnitin.

Note: Electronic signatures are not accepted. If both files are not received by the due date, faculty will deduct points per the Walden Late Policies.

    Resources

Be sure to review the Learning Resources before completing this activity.
Click the weekly resources link to access the resources.

    To prepare:

  • websit lowcood – data analyses

What I need from you now is to create a simple website using lowcode. When the user first opens it, it should display the project title. After that, there should be a section that shows a list of colleges.

The colleges should be: Computer Science, Engineering, and Business Administration.

Inside each college, there should be two courses, and inside each course there should be students grades (A+, B, C, D).

We want to use these grades as coursework grades during the semester, and then build a prediction feature that estimates what the students might get in the final exam based on their current performance.

I have already attached the data source in the Proposal and Sprint 1, which you should use for the project.

We want the website to be built using a low-code platform, so that we can easily use it and make changes or updates ourselves later.or with you

Please keep everything simple, user-friendly, and easy to modify.

  • The study of mind and behavior, exploring how people think,…

To ensure we make the most of our time, I will provide a deep dive into Cognitive Dissonance Theory, one of the most influential concepts in social psychology. It perfectly illustrates how our minds resolve internal conflict.

    The Core Concept: Cognitive Dissonance

Proposed by Leon Festinger in 1957, Cognitive Dissonance is the mental discomfort experienced by a person who holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values. This discomfort acts as a drivemuch like hungermotivating the individual to reduce the inconsistency to achieve “consonance.”
