  • Help finding data sources 2008 presidential election

1). Slide 11 identifies the sources for the first explanation but not the second explanation. Slide 12 (third entry) suggests you will use campaign archives and reports to identify the two candidates campaign appearances. Which ones? You need to identify the URLs that provide access to the necessary information.

2). Slide 12 includes both campaign visits and field office activity (see third entry). Slide 12 indicates you will use news sources and campaign records to identify the two candidates field offices. Which ones? That entails identifying the URLs that provide access to the necessary information.

3). Should you complete the first two items by Tuesday, then you should identify the specific BEA and Gallop URLs that will supply the relevant data for GDP and approval ratings.

Plan to come to your 10:00 a.m. meeting on Tuesday prepared to show me the specific data sources you will use to collect the data for the second and third explanations (be ready to share the URLs) and some of the data you collect. That task would align with the first two entries on slide 13. On Tuesday, based on what you show me, we will figure out what your next step will be for Thursday.

  • Computer Ethics

This weeks discussion focuses on intellectual property, digital ownership, and ethics in emerging technologies. As you explored in the readings and materials, digital tools have made it easier than ever to create, remix, and share content. However, these same tools raise complex questions about ownership, permission, fairness, and responsibility in the digital world.

    Scenario:

A company called Anthropic attempted to remove leaked source code from the internet. In doing so, thousands of unrelated GitHub repositories were also taken down. The company later stated this was an accident, but the situation raised important questions about intellectual property, control, and unintended consequences in digital spaces.

    You can read more here:

    In your post:

    • Briefly explain what stands out to you about this situation.
    • Respond to at least TWO of the following:
      • Who was affected by this situation, and was the companys response justified?
      • When companies try to protect intellectual property, where should the line be drawn to avoid harming others?
      • How does this case shape your understanding of ownership in the digital world?
      • Where do you encounter intellectual property in your daily life (music, memes, AI tools, school materials, etc.), and how do you decide what is okay to use or share?
      • What is one question this situation raises for you about copyright, ethics, or digital ownership?
    • Make a real-world connection:
      • Have you seen something similar happen online?
      • How would you respond if your own content was affected?
    • Reflect on ethics:
      • What responsibilities do companies, users, or platforms have in situations like this?
      • Why do those responsibilities matter?
  • What is tissue?

Tissue is the group of similar cells that work together to perform a specific function in an organism. Examples include:- Muscle tissue, Norvous tissue etc.

Chapter 11 “Mass Media Effects” Review and Reaction posted

Please pay attention. This chapter is very long and important attention to the title of the chapter (depend by the textbook edition that may be different).

This chapter is very important and long( lots of information to learn). Read it and will be discuss it in the class and write a page and half single space page and a paragraph of learning and reaction (total two pages 1000).

  • Explain photosynthesis process with balanced equation and fa…

Photosynthesis Complete Explanation (Class 10 ICSE)

Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants make their own food using sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water in the presence of chlorophyll.

    Balanced Chemical Equation

    6CO_2 + 6H_2O xrightarrow[text{chlorophyll}]{text{sunlight}} C_6H_{12}O_6 + 6O_2

    This means:

    • Carbon dioxide + Water Glucose + Oxygen

    Steps of Photosynthesis

    1. Light Reaction (Occurs in chloroplasts)

    • Sunlight is absorbed by chlorophyll
    • Water splits into:
      • Oxygen (released into air)
      • Hydrogen ions and electrons
    • Energy is stored as ATP

    2. Dark Reaction (Calvin Cycle)

    • Takes place in the stroma of chloroplast
    • Carbon dioxide combines with hydrogen to form glucose
    • Does not need sunlight directly

Factors Affecting the Rate of Photosynthesis

    1. Light Intensity

    • More light faster photosynthesis (up to a limit)
    • Very high light can damage chlorophyll

    2. Carbon Dioxide Concentration

    • Increased CO increases rate (till saturation point)

    3. Temperature

    • Optimum: 25C 35C
    • Low temp slows enzymes
    • High temp enzymes denature

    4. Water

    • Shortage reduces photosynthesis
    • Causes stomata to close less CO intake

    5. Chlorophyll Content

    • More chlorophyll higher rate
    • Less chlorophyll reduced photosynthesis

    Important Definitions

    • Chlorophyll: Green pigment that absorbs sunlight
    • Stomata: Tiny pores for gas exchange
    • Glucose: Food produced by plants
    • Photolysis: Splitting of water using light

    Quick Revision

    • Photosynthesis = Food-making process in plants
    • Requires: Sunlight, CO, Water, Chlorophyll
    • Produces: Glucose + Oxygen
    • Happens in chloroplasts
    • Two stages: Light reaction & Dark reaction

    Practice Questions

    1. Define photosynthesis.
    2. Write the balanced equation of photosynthesis.
    3. Name two stages of photosynthesis.
    4. What is the role of chlorophyll?
    5. How does temperature affect photosynthesis?

  • discussion and refelction

Applied behavior analysis emphasizes not only the effectiveness of interventions but also the importance of client participation and acceptability. Two key concepts in this area are assent (obtaining ongoing agreement from clients to participate in interventions or research) and social validity (evaluating whether goals, procedures, and outcomes are meaningful and acceptable to the client and stakeholders).

    For this discussion:

    1. Summarize what you see as the main differences between assent and social validity.
    2. Reflect on why each is important in research and practice.
    3. Provide a concrete example (from your own experience, coursework, or a hypothetical scenario) of how you would assess either assent or social validity in a way that protects client dignity and improves the quality of the research.

Note: Focus on research and applied settings in behavior analysis.

You must also upload your post to the Module 9 Integrity Folder.
