737 – Individual Project Assignmen

You are required to fully design, implement, and present a project titled:

Wireless Industrial Control System

The goal of this project is to develop a complete wireless system that enables remote control (ON/OFF) of industrial devices such as motors and pumps, while ensuring safety, reliability, and security in an industrial environment.

### 1. Project Understanding

You must clearly understand that the system is based on integrating:

– Industrial electronics (relays, motors, protection circuits)

– Wireless communication (Wi-Fi / RF / Bluetooth)

The system should allow an operator to monitor and control industrial devices remotely without direct physical interaction.

### 2. System Design (Very Important)

You are required to design a complete system that includes:

#### A. Block Diagram

Create a clear block diagram that includes:

– User Interface (HMI or mobile/PC interface)

– Wireless communication module

– Microcontroller / PLC

– Relay driver circuit

– Industrial load (motor/pump)

– Protection circuit

#### B. Hardware Components

Select appropriate components such as:

– Microcontroller (Arduino / ESP32 / PLC)

– Wireless module (Wi-Fi, RF, etc.)

– Relay module

– Power supply

– Protection elements (fuse, overload protection)

### 3. System Operation

Explain step-by-step how the system works:

1. User sends command (ON/OFF) from interface

2. Signal is transmitted wirelessly

3. Controller receives the signal

4. Relay circuit activates/deactivates

5. Motor or pump is controlled

6. Feedback/status is displayed to the user

### 4. HMI / Interface Design

Design a simple and clear interface that shows:

– Device status (ON / OFF / Fault)

– Control buttons

– Alerts or warnings

This can be:

– Mobile app

– Web interface

– PC-based GUI

### 5. Communication Reliability

You must ensure:

– Stable communication in industrial environments

– Handling interference (EMI)

– Testing communication range and signal strength

### 6. Safety and Protection

Implement safety features such as:

– Overload protection

– Emergency stop

– Fault detection

– Local manual control in case of wireless failure

### 7. Security Implementation

You must include:

– Authentication (only authorized users can control the system)

– Encryption (to prevent hacking or unauthorized access)

### 8. Implementation / Simulation

You are required to:

– Either build a real prototype

OR

– Simulate the system using tools such as Proteus / Tinkercad

Include results such as:

– Successful ON/OFF control

– Response time

– Stability of communication

### 9. Report (IEEE Format)

Prepare a full report using IEEE format that includes:

1. Abstract

2. Introduction

3. System Design

4. Methodology

5. Results and Discussion

6. Conclusion

7. References

Make sure the report is:

– Clear and professional

– Free of grammar mistakes

– Supported with diagrams and figures

### 10. Presentation (Very Important)

Prepare a professional presentation (PowerPoint) including:

#### Slides Structure:

1. Title Slide

2. Project Idea

3. Objectives

4. System Overview

5. Block Diagram

6. Hardware Components

7. Working Principle

8. Safety & Security

9. Results / Demo

10. Conclusion

#### Presentation Requirements:

– Use clear and simple English

– Add diagrams and visuals

– Do not overload slides with text

– Be ready to explain each part clearly

### Final Notes

– The system must be realistic and applicable in real industrial environments

– Focus on clarity, safety, and reliability

– Ensure all objectives are achieved

– The final work should be complete, organized, and ready for evaluation

-NOTES :

1- These two tasks are part of the graduation project course and include three portfolios that you have already written (3 portfolios are attached).

2- The project requires writing the final paper with great precision, following the instructions and guidelines in the two attached files. You must follow these steps step by step and accurately, as they count for 50% of the overall grade.

3-You must also design and implement the presentation to match the final paper, which counts for 50% of the overall grade.

4-All attached files (3 portfolios), one samples of the final paper (IEEE), and an Excel program that explains the evaluation and marking method for the project must be read and followed correctly.

When writing the report, presentation, , the following must be taken into account:

1. Include valuable and essential information for the project.

2. Include images, tables, graphs, and charts related to the project.

3. Follow the correct instructions and standards when writing.

4- This material is extremely important, and you must complete it to the highest standards to obtain a full score.

5- The information must be linked to the three portfolios.

6- Focus heavily on the results and discussion.

7- The presentation must clearly explain all sections of the project (final paper).

8- The plagiarism rate must not exceed 10%.

9- The report must be no less than 10 pages, and the presentation must be within 15 slides.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Good luck.
