Each student will be tasked to write and submit a full-length conference proposal for the 2026 Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) conference. Students may approach this assignment as a solo writing project, as a pair project with one (1) partner, or as a group of no more than three (3) total members. The topic of the proposal may be focused on a topic related to decision making, individual research interests, collective research interests, or a relevant topic in higher education. Students should refer to the ASHE Call for Proposals for detailed guidance. Submission types must take one of the following forms:
- Scholarly Paper: 1,850-1,990 words (including in-text citations)
- Interactive Symposium: 1,850-1,990 words (including in-text citations)
- Works in Progress: 1,420-1,490 words (including in-text-citations (recommended)
- Poster: 1,420-1,490 words (including in-text-citations (recommended)
