  • Political Science Question

You will identify and describe the set of people, groups, and/or institutions who organized the political violence in your incident. By organized we mean who brought people together to fight or respond to the fighting as in who identified, oversaw, and motivated the perpetrators to carry out violence. Include not only who organized the violence in the moment but if there was a group of people prepared to commit violence, who organized them. This should be approximately 1/2 to 1 page single spaced.

    • Describe these people, groups, or institutions including their names, goals, and their motivations specifically for perpetrating violence and what they stood to gain and lose.
    • If you identified groups and institutions who organized the violence, then also describe, if known, who led these organizations or, if different, who was responsible for organizing violence. If there are groups within the organization, such as a committee, describe that committee and if relevant the individuals within it. If there is a single leader who is most relevant, describe them, if there is a military and political leader, describe both. You should describe who these people and groups are, what their roles are in the organization, how they contributed to organizing the violence, what their motivations for participating in the group were and for perpetrating violence specifically, and what they themselves stood to gain, if anything, from the violence.
    • Using concepts from the Blattman reading, assess how who organized might have impacted whether the violence took place.

  • GEN499-Final Paper

One problem I have personally experienced in the military is the challenge of balancing service obligations with being a full-time college student. Many service members pursue degrees to advance their careers, but the combination of long shifts, deployments, and unpredictable schedules makes academic success difficult. This issue affects military members across all branches, especially those working nights or rotating schedules. This is my course textbook: Mathues, S. (2023). . • DISSEMINATION OF EVIDENCE

One way to disseminate evidence is through presentation to your peers. For this assignment, you will develop a PowerPoint presentation and present it using Loom. Refer to the topic Resources for additional information and instructions for using Loom.

The PowerPoint presentation should include 12-15 slides that can be presented in 7-10 minutes.

Your presentation will cover all of all the major areas of your EBP Project proposal. Use your project proposal sections as your guide. You will be assessed on both your subject knowledge and presentation skills (including body language, eye contact, evidence of preparation, content, clear articulation, and adherence to the 7-10-minute time limit).

After recording your Loom video, copy and paste the link for your video onto a Word document. Submit only the Word document with the link to the assignment dropbox.

While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

  • Public Health Question

Throughout this course you will be developing a formal, Evidence-Based Practice Project Proposal.

The proposal is the plan for an Evidence-Based Practice Project designed to address a problem, issue, or concern in the professional work setting. Although several types of evidence can be used to support a proposed solution, a sufficient and compelling base of support from valid research studies is required as the major component of that evidence. Proposals are submitted in a format suitable for obtaining formal approval in the work setting. Proposals will vary in length depending upon the problem or issue addressed, but they should be between 3,500 and 5,000 words. The cover sheet, abstract, references page, and appendices are not included in the word count. Review the paper template (with abstract) provided in the Student Success Center and “Evidence-Based Practice Project Proposal Format,” located in the Class Resources, for guidance on preparing abstracts.

Section headings and letters for each section component are required. Responses are addressed in narrative form in relation to that section. Evaluation of the proposal in all sections is based upon the extent to which the depth of content reflects graduate-level critical thinking skills.

This project proposal contains six formal sections:

    1. Section A: Problem Description
    2. Section B: Research Support
    3. Section C: Proposed Solution
    4. Section D: Change Model
    5. Section E: Implementation Plan
    6. Section F: Evaluation of Process

Each section (A-F, to be completed in Topics 1-6) was previously submitted as a separate assignment so your instructor could provide feedback for revision (refer to each previous topic for those specific assignments and instructor feedback).

The final paper will consist of the completed project (with revisions to all sections), title page, abstract (review the template with abstract, located in the Student Success Center), reference list, and appendices. Appendices will include a conceptual model for the project, handouts, data and evaluation collection tools, a budget, a timeline, resource lists, and approval forms. Refer to “EBP Implementation Plan Guide” and “Evidence-Based Practice Project Proposal Format,” located in Class Resources, as tools for developing your proposal.

Once you receive your graded assignment, use the instructor feedback to make any necessary revisions to this section as you prepare for your Evidence-Based Practice Project Proposal – Final Paper assignment due in Topic 8. See “Evidence-Based Practice Project Proposal Format,” located in Class Resources, for more information.

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is required.

This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.

You are not required to submit this assignment to LopesWrite.
