    Good statement of the problem, however you left out the key ethics code that makes this an ethical violation: Code 2.06, accuracy in service billing and reporting. Without this the actions of the supervisor may not be considered an ethical violation and must be included here.

    Regarding steps to address the problem- you should only respond here with those steps and not statements about it from a theoretical perspective.

    Also, you would not be “denying” the supervisor’s request which would not be an appropriate approach as a professional and as an employee you would need to express your concern and why you cannot follow the direction, which is consistent with the instructions in the BACB ethics code that you need to use for your answers in this assignment report. Refusal is a perhaps better way to look at this (although either can affect your employment for the sake of upholding your integrity and ethical responsibilities).

    For e.g. what do you mean or what is “a structured resource”? Please explain or provide examples when making such general statements.

    Documenting communications is a good approach and indicated in the ethics code.

    Your process or steps to address the ethical problem are not clearly stated in plain language or terminology that is understandable, and does not appear to align with the BACB instructions nor steps or process identified in the section of the ethics code titled “Application of the Code.” Reviewing this section of the ethics code document will help guide your responses and for your responsibilities when you become a BCBA and are faced with an ethical dilemma. That will also help you understand the steps needed such as attempting to directly resolve the issue internally, and when, if, and where to report potential ethical violations by another behavior analyst.

    There is a process to follow as indicated in the ethics code. You need to know when and where to report violations as a BCBA.
