The purpose of this assignment is to examine how mindfulness and mindfulness-based interventions are used to facilitate healing and recovery for individuals with histories of trauma. Choose a topic regarding a population of focus and trauma type (e.g., bullying, disasters, physical abuse, sexual abuse). In this research paper, you will review the literature and describe how mindfulness has been used for their chosen topic.

The paper should be 7-10 pages not including title and reference page in APA format using peer reviewed articles.

2. Based on your review of the literature, describe how mindfulness has been used for your chosen topic. Review and only include credible and relevant sources.
3. Identify the mindfulness-based intervention that will be evaluated. Succinctly describe the intervention, including its history and a short description of what participants can expect to experience (e.g., what specific techniques or procedures are involved).
4. State the aim of your literature review. Identify your research question.
