  • English Question

For this essay, you are going to write a 3-page (minimum) essay arguing a topic. The idea is to not just present information about the topic, but to construct a well-reasoned argument supported by research. Choose ONE of the following:

    • Should smartphones be allowed in classrooms, or do they disrupt learning?
    • Does social media do more harm than good in creating and nurturing personal relationships?
    • Should governments have the right to access citizens’ personal data in the name of national security?
    • Do school uniforms improve student behavior and academic performance, or do they unnecessarily restrict student individuality?
    • Should standardized test scores (SAT/ACT) continue to play a significant role in college admissions, or should schools rely more heavily on other factors?

    Requirements:

    • Thesis: Develop a thesis statement that clearly states your topic/the issue and presents the claim you will be arguing in your essay.
    • Evidence: Support your claim with a substantial number of summaries/quotes/paraphrases from three credible sources (minimum). Meaning, avoid using a one- to two- sentence stand-alone quote from each of your sources. Show mastery of your sources and be sure to integrate them fully into your essay with sufficient evidence. Make sure it is also clear how each piece of evidence illustrates your points and supports your thesis. . Also, for this essay, make sure you include all components of your argument (claim, supporting evidence, opposing views, rebuttals, etc.)
    • In-text Citations: Make sure to include MLA parenthetical citations after each reference throughout your essay, as well as signal phrases such as “According to the [author/article/etc.] …” when introducing your evidence.
    • Structure: Organize your essay with a clear introduction (providing background/context and presenting your thesis statement; avoid including analytical evidence in the introduction), body paragraphs that expand on your thesis (each paragraph should present a clear topic and include supporting details and analysis), and a conclusion that restates your thesis and reflects on your overall analysis without introducing new information. Make sure you include the claim, then your evidence, the opposing view(s), followed by a rebuttal, and then your conclusion (unless your argument works best with the Rogerian method, to which you would follow that structure).
    • Length: 3-5 pages (3 full pages minimum), double-spaced

    • Works Cited Page (Page 4 of essay): MLA-style works cited page on next page once essay is done, featuring your three sources (minimum) in alphabetical order. Make sure this page follows MLA format like the rest of your essay, but with hanging indentation for each source listed. Also, make sure to remove the hyperlink so your links are not clickable.
    • MLA Format: Times New Roman size 12-point font, double-spaced (with no extra spaces either before or after any paragraphs/headings), 1″ margins all around, proper MLA heading (with last name and page number in document Header), each new paragraph indented properly, etc.
    • Grammar and Mechanics: Revise your work for errors in grammar and mechanics. You can utilize the Editor feature on your word processor as well as having me and/or a tutor review your writing. There should be minimal to no errors in your final draft. Your work must also be written in third person with no contractions.

  • Cyber Security Question

I am looking for someone with strong experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), specifically using Velociraptor and Splunk, to help complete a cumulative lab assignment.

    IMPORTANT:
You do NOT need to complete all questions.

    The assignment requires:

    • Selecting a minimum of FOUR (4) questions from Part 1 (Velociraptor)
    • Selecting a minimum of THREE (3) questions from Part 2 (Splunk)

You may choose the easiest or most efficient questions, but they must be completed correctly.

The lab is hands-on and requires actual execution (not just written answers).

    Tasks include:

    • Working with Velociraptor (client/server setup, VQL queries, hunts, artifacts)
    • Writing and executing VQL queries (e.g., pslist, filtering, regex)
    • Performing hunts and remote command execution
    • Collecting forensic artifacts from endpoints
    • Installing and configuring Splunk and Universal Forwarder
    • Running SPL queries (rex, stats, timechart, etc.)
    • Analyzing logs (EventCode 4104, 4688)
    • Working with datasets such as BOTSv3

    VERY IMPORTANT:
    The assignment requires:

    • Screenshots of all results (Velociraptor interface, Splunk dashboards, queries, outputs)
    • Clear visibility of commands and outputs in screenshots
    • Correct queries used (VQL and SPL)
    • Short written explanations for each question

This is a practical lab assignment, so everything must be properly executed and documented with screenshots as proof.

    Requirements:

    • Experience with Velociraptor and Splunk
    • Knowledge of DFIR workflows
    • Ability to follow instructions carefully
    • Must provide clean, accurate, and well-organized answers

Please only apply if you have done similar cybersecurity labs before.

  • Mathematics Question

Please read the instructions below. Be sure to review the rubric to ensure that the assignment meets the required guidelines. In addition, be sure to use the vocabulary that is attached.

This assignment has two parts. You will review and critique ONE of two lesson plans. Then, you will use your review to write and upload a reflection of what you noticed in the lesson plan you chose, and what could be improved.

Before you begin, review the following module resources (as needed) to support your understanding:

    1. Review the Lesson Plan

Click the link below to access the Ratios and Proportions and Rate of Change Lesson Plans: Remember to choose ONE of the lesson plans to review.

    • (See attached)
    • (See attached)

As you review, consider the following:

    • How well does the lesson develop both conceptual understanding and procedural fluency?
    • Where are there opportunities to improve student engagement?
    • How does the lesson promote the use of precise mathematical language (e.g., ratio, proportion, slope)?
    • Are mathematical tools and visual models used effectively to support understanding?

    2. Write a Reflection

Write a 300500 word reflection that addresses the prompts below. Make sure you use precise mathematical language throughout your explanations.

    Conceptual Understanding and Procedural Fluency:

    • In what ways do the lesson activities support students conceptual understanding of ratio and proportion OR rate of change, as well as their fluency with related procedures?
    • What additional instructional strategies could be used to enhance student understanding?

    Student Engagement

    • How could student engagement be improved or made more consistent throughout the lesson?

    Precise Mathematical Language

    • In what ways can the lesson plan be adjusted to better support students in explaining and discussing their mathematical ideas with precise vocabulary?

    Use of Math Manipulatives/Representations

    • What improvements could be made to the use of tools, manipulatives, or visual representations in this lesson?

    Application to Practice

    • How might you apply these insights to improve your own lesson plans and teaching practices?
  • Trigonometry Question

You may either enter your answers directly into the quiz via keyboard (this is time-consuming) or print it, solve the problems by hand, and then scan it and submit the scans.

To get the most out of our collaboration, try to include

. The “Why” : What are you trying to achieve?

. The “Who” : Who is the intended audience?

. The format” : do you need a list, a deep dive, or a quick summary?

What project or questions are you working on right now that we can dive into ?
