For this data set that we were given, much of which is confusing to look at, I could Identify that we were looking at revenue for sales during the four months. I had to interpret the meaning of several different things, so I decided to clean up the data and make it a bit more readable to me. I then took all the data and formed pivot tables to make it clear for the viewer of the data (ie. Investors or employees). The data now clearly shows sales of different products and the totals for each month, allowing us to discern how much of each product was sold. This data allows us to make decisions on future sales based on these past sales figures but still does not tell us why they are the way they are, for example slow season, inclement weather, supply shortages, etc. This visualization would change depending on who is viewing it as it contains information that, for example cooks dont need to know to do their jobs but financial investors would. The decision to use the graphics I did came from a clarity issue I had with the original data set. Therefore, I chose to give it all the clarity I could afford.
