What is evaporation? Factors affecting evaporation.
Evaporation – The phenomenon of change of liquid vapours at any vapours at any temperature below it’s boiling point is called evaluation.
Factors affecting evaporation –
1) Wind energy – When the wind energy is increase then the rate of evaporation is also increase.
(Wind energy rate of evaporation )
2) Temperature – When the temperature is increase then the rate of evaporation is also increase.
(Temperature rate of evaporation )
3) Surface area- when the surface is increase then the rate of evaporation is also increase.
(Surface rate of evaporation )
4) Humidity – when the humidity is increase then the rate of evaporation is decrease.
(Humidity rate of evaporation )

Calculate the work done during reversible isothermal expansi…
A sample of an ideal gas expands reversibly and isothermally at 300 K from a volume of 2 L to 10 L. The number of moles of the gas is 1 mole.
Calculate the work done by the gas during the expansion.
Use the formula for reversible isothermal expansion:
w = -nRT lnleft(frac{V_2}{V_1}right)
Given:
