(APA, 2019) Spelling- Students should conform to standard American English as exemplified in Merriam-Websters Collegiate Dictionary. Citing Sources All sources must be cited to avoid plagiarism. Plagiarism- Plagiarism is when authors present the work of another as if it were their own work. Whether paraphrasing, quoting an author directly, or describing an idea that influenced a student’s work, students must cite the source. References in APA publications are cited in text with an author-date citation system and are listed alphabetically in the reference list. This style of citation briefly identifies the source for readers and enables them to locate the source information in the alphabetical reference list at the end of the case study paper. Each reference cited in text must appear in the reference list and each entry in the reference list must be cited in text. Students must make certain that each source referenced appears in both places and that the text citation and reference list entry are identical in spelling of author names and year. (APA, 2019).
