They also indicated that they are aware the vendor approved does not have track record and the technical capability to execute the project, in a manner that deliver value. Furthermore, they indicated that their overall project commercials were 35% lower than the total value of the project being awarded to the said approved and preferred contractor. Additionally, they tendered evidence that one of the directors and a majority shareholder of the awardee company has been blacklisted from conducting business globally for breach of anti-corruption provisions in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) of the United States of America. The complainant is making claim for liquidated damages up to the total cost of their participation in the entire tender processes that took more than 5 months of their involvement. REQUIRED: 1.     A long-time customer approaches you for financing for a new business venture. The customer offers a piece of property as collateral for a planned housing development. An appraiser discovers that the property contains toxic waste that is slowly migrating and may contaminate nearby farmland and water sources in the future.

    You inform your manager. Your manager instructs you to reject the property as collateral but strictly forbids you from informing the customer about the toxic waste. He states: Let them find out about it themselves.

    Ali is a successful financial officer in a banking company. He will take over the recently acquired footprint as the new regional CEO. The newly acquired banking institution has a good market reputation

    On Monday morning at 10am, Ali had called a meeting. He reached the office at 9am and saw very few employees in the meeting so he got annoyed but keeping his emotions at side, he started the meeting at 10am sharp. Ali was unhappy due to lack of dedication of employees towards the organization, as most of the employees did not arrive on time.

    Later that afternoon Ali met the executive team and outlined the strategic goals, objectives and deadlines. A meeting was held with the senior staff members to report progress. In the report it was shown that currently the market growth rates were up and new business numbers were increasing.

    A quarter later Ali had a quarterly report result. The report showed both positive and negative results. Ali reviewed the report with his staff and requested them for their input. However, his request was greeted with silence. He sensed an uneasy feeling in the room.
