Carefully read the proposed scenario. Then, address the five tasks listed below. Use at least one real-world hospitality example or case as a comparison or support. Make sure you combine theory with practice by implementing the concepts we covered in this class. Points will be deducted for poor, short answers that lack strong arguments and justification. Questions should be included as headings within your assignment, followed by your detailed answers. Your paper must be in the form of a Microsoft document based on the following guidelines: Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt., double-spaced. It must be submitted via Canvas by the due date. However, over the past year, the resort has experienced a decline in employee morale and an increase in staff turnover. Guest satisfaction ratings have also dropped, with several complaints noting inattentive service and lack of enthusiasm from staff. Current Issues Employees feel overworked and underappreciated. Minimal input is allowed from frontline staff in decision-making. The resort lacks a formal recognition system or feedback loop. There is no clear training or career development path. The General Manager, Ms. Lopez, has recognized the problem and is determined to implement a strategy that incorporates employee motivation, empowerment, and continuous improvement to revitalize the workplace culture. Your Task As an expert and consultant, you must: Identify the main challenges faced by Vista Mar Resort. Propose at least three motivation strategies based on motivation theories (e.g., Maslow, Herzberg, or Expectancy Theory). Recommend two empowerment tactics that can help staff feel more involved and valued. Outline a continuous improvement plan (e.g., regular feedback loops, team meetings, training programs, or performance metrics). Suggest how to evaluate the success of these strategies over a 6-month period.

    Case Study:

Blanca Cortez applies her lipstick and smiles into the mirror. Shes got a second date tonight with a friends cousin who just moved to town. Isaac is everything shes been looking for in a partner: taller than her, with a sarcastic personality and great taste in music. Shes excited but also nervous about where the relationship could go. Blanca has perinatally acquired HIV and when she disclosed her status to her last boyfriend prior to being sexually active he turned into a different person. She would be crushed if the same thing happened with Isaac.

Its hard for Blanca to be vulnerable with new people, maybe in part because she was adopted as a young child and has had trust issues. She has worked hard to overcome these feelings in therapy but sometimes her depression and anxiety has become too much to bear, causing her to become non-adherent to her ART medications.

She checks her phone and sees that Isaac has texted that hes on his way to pick her up and feels her heart flutter with nerves. She closes her eyes, takes several cleansing breaths, then zips up her coat to wait by the door.

    Discussion Questions:

    1. When do you think Blanca should disclose her HIV status to Isaac? Why might she have a hard time broaching the subject? What would the consequences be if she decided not to tell him?
    2. What are some ways that Isaac can protect himself from acquiring HIV if he and Blanca become sexually active?
    3. Isaac talks to his doctor and starts to take PrEP. One day his mother is visiting and sees the pill bottle. How do you think Isaac could explain the medication to his mother?
    4. If Blanca and Isaac decide to have a family together, what are some ways that they can prevent transmission of HIV to their child?
