  • Johnson’s Model of Health

Johnson viewed health as efficient and effective functioning of the system, and as behavioral system balance and stability. Behavioral system balance and stability are demonstrated by observed behavior that is purposeful, orderly, and predictable. Consider a clinical-practice situation that demonstrates Johnsons model of health. How can the nurse support this theory to return the patient to balance and stability?

Your initial posting should be at least 400 words in length and utilize at least one scholarly source other than the textbook. Please reply to at least two classmates. Replies to classmates should be at least 200 words in length.

  • Case Scenario

You are working with a family, which includes 3 and 5-year old children, a mother, and a live-in grandmother. The mother works outside of the home and the children attend childcare during the day. Grandmother is a significant care provider. Childcare recommended the family seek services due to significant behavioral concerns in the school. They report that the 5-year-old leads the behavior, and the 3-year-old follows in the behavior.

Select one of the Behavioral or Cognitive models and explore how you would approach this case. Name and explain a few key concepts of the model you selected, note the role of the therapist in that model, and how change is viewed within the model. Then give several examples of how you would treat the family. Give examples of interventions that you would use and the goals that would guide those interventions. What would termination look like with this family?

  • Nursing Question

Begin your ROL (Review of Literature) with the dictionary and lay sources of your concept, then move to academic literature. Review the nursing literature related to the topic, as well as other disciplines, such as biology, psychology, or law.

    (1) Provide a summary of two nursing articles that includes a few main points that relate to your topic/concept.

    (2) Nursing Process: connect the main points from the literature to the role of the professional nurse using the NCSBN Clinical Judgment Model. Review element(s) of the nursing process that the literature applies to, such as assessment (recognize cues), analysis (analyze cues), planning (generate solutions), implementation (take actions), and evaluation (evaluate outcomes). Highlight all possible interventions or actions that are required by the professional nurse to support the concept while delivering end-of-life care. Evaluate expected and unexpected outcomes that take place after the concept and applicable interventions provided by the professional nurse occur.

For your information I’ve started to write ROL. Ill provide it here, please make sure to add those details when doing the paper.

Current research emphasizes the importance of these nursing roles. The End-of-Life

Nursing Education Consortium highlights how structured communication training strengthens

interdisciplinary palliative care teams. In addition, the other articles focusing on shared decision-

making in advanced cancer show that patients benefit when they are given clear information and

an active voice in their care. These articles support the idea that nurses play a key role in

advocating for patient preferences, promoting comfort, and ensuring dignity throughout end-of-

life care. As well as helping patients to match their values and wishes which support patient

centered care, and guiding and supporting during difficult situations.

    4-6 paragraphs, total.

Definition of the Concept: Write a definition that introduces the concepts defining attributes. This definition should be written in a one paragraph narrative that is well supported by the literature.

    Must include a Reference Page.

Also please include nursing clinical experience examples. Only use two references that are provided. No additional reference is allowed no other references are allowed according to the rubrics. Write in simple english, No CHATGPT or any AI, No plagiarism.

Please let me know if you need any other information.

    1) What are the primary data sources (at least two) to address the problem? (5 points)

Raiders average home attendance per game varied their last five years in Oakland, ranging from 57,919 per home game in 2018 and bottoming out at 52,549 in their last season. They saw a spike above 57,000 for the first two seasons after the move was announced, before that they averaged around 54,500. Since moving to Las Vegas, they have consistently averaged over 62,000 fans per game in 4 of the 5 seasons, with an average attendance of 61,185 in 2021. *2020 did not have attendance due to Covid restrictions. Raiders valuation has doubled since moving to Las Vegas. Before a new stadium deal was in place, Forbes estimated the teams value at $1.43 billion in 2015, ranking 31st of the 32 NFL teams. The Raiders now have a valuation of $6.2 billion, ranking 6th in the NFL. Sources:

    2) What are the available secondary data sources (at least two) to address the problem? (5 points)

Moving to Las Vegas also provided a huge boost to UNLVs football program, as the deal with the county allowed the Rebels to move into Allegiant Stadium, which is a vast improvement over Sam Boyd Stadium. Playing in an NFL stadium has improved the recruiting profile, as players now have a climate controlled indoor stadium, as well as their own dedicated, 7200 square foot locker room. The stadium is also more fan friendly, as it is more centrally located and offers premium seating and state of the art fan experience. UNLV football has gone from perennial cellar dweller, to a potential juggernaut in the new Mountain West conference.

    3) Among the data sources you identified which types of data sources would be most suitable for addressing the problem? (5 points)

Data sources from local outlets, especially articles from UNLV will be most suitable for addressing the problem.

    4) Among the data sources you identified, which types of data sources would be the most feasible for addressing the problem within a relatively short period of time (i.e., during a semester)? (5 points)
