What happened in the life of early humans after the last ice…
After the last Ice Age, the climate became warmer and more stable. Because of this change, the life of early humans improved a lot. They no longer needed to move from place to place for food. Early humans started settling down at one place.
They began growing crops like wheat and barley and also domesticated animals such as dogs, sheep, and goats. This helped them get regular food. People started living in villages, making better tools, and storing food for future use.
Their lifestyle changed from hunting and gathering to farming and animal rearing. As a result, their living conditions became safer and more comfortable.

ITC: Information System management PPT presentation
For decades, relational databases remained essentially unchanged; data was segmented into specific chunks for columns, slots, and repositories, also called structured data. However, in this Internet of Things (IoT) era, databases need to be reengineered because the very nature of data has changed. Todays databases need to be developed with the needs of IoT in mind and have the ability to perform real-time processing to manage workloads that are dynamic. For example, relational databases should be able to work with real-time data streaming and big data (an example was presented in the unit lesson).
Scenario: eHermes wants their personnel to be able to view security video footage in real-time and provide them with the ability to query video footage for viewing. Choosing a database solution such as MongoDB would allow eHermes to store mobile self-driving video footage in the same database as the metadata.
To do this, eHermes needs a way to manage the demands of real-time data streaming for real-time analytics. Conduct some research for a NoSQL database application such as MongoDB or Cassandra that could meet this need. How would switching to a real-time database solution help eHermes remain competitive? Create a PowerPoint presentation that does the following:
- Provides a brief introduction to IoT.
- Presents an argument to the eHermes CEO that switching to a more dynamic database structure (NoSQL real-time database) will meet the demands of IoT.
- Introduces some features of the database you chose, whether it is MongoDB, Cassandra, or another database.
- Describes how switching to a more dynamic database will give eHermes a competitive advantage?
Your presentation must be a minimum of six slides, and you must use at least two academic resources. Any information from a resource used must be cited and referenced in APA format.
Requirements: 6 slides

assignement 4
Weekly written assignment 4 includes One case analysis (Bridgewater Associates case) and two business articles with three application questions. Please read the case and the articles below and answer all questions (all sub-questions).
Written Assignment Questions:
Case analysis – Chapter 9 Bridgewater Associates
Bridgewater Associates Case Questions – Please answer below three Case questions on textbook Chapter 9, p. 304.
9.1. Picture being in a meeting at Bridgewater – one where attendees are rating one another using the Dot Collector. What would you like about that process? What would you dislike about that process?
9.2. Do you agree with the notion that a person’s rating history on personality traits can be used to create a “believability” index? And do you agree that the views of more “believable” people should be given more weight during decisions?
9.3. Should more organizations create these sorts of continually updated baseball cards? Is there something about the nature of the investment business that makes it more suited to this sort of approach?
We study three different dimensions of ability in Chapter 10. The above two articles emphasize the importance of emotional ability.
Question 1.
(a) In your opinion, as more organizations embrace AI, which will be the most important ability that employers are looking for? Cognitive? Emotional? or Physical? All three? Why?
(b) Please share your opinions and examples of why that ability (or those abilities) is (are) important.
Question 2.
(a) After reading the two articles above, should employers provide any emotional intelligence training? Why? Why not?
(b) Have you experienced any training for emotional intelligence? Was it effective? (or not)? Any suggestions to employers? (If you do not have any emotional intelligence training experience, please answer (c))
(c) If you do not have any training experience, what type of training will benefit employees? (If you answered (b) above, you do not need to answer this)
Submission Instructions:
Make sure to answer all questions (with all sub-questions) fully. Do not type out all questions (the plagiarism checker will show a red flag), but need to include question numbers for each answer.
Please apply chapter theories and contents in your answer. Also, if you have any related experience, try to share your own experience in your answers.
Avoid direct quotes from the textbook or any external sources. If your plagiarism or AI score is 30% or higher, you will get zero and need to resubmit your work for a grade. In the case of using grammar AI tools, students should include acknowledgment of the authenticity of their submission.
No cover page. No more than 6 pages. Expect at least 4 pages, excluding references. The last sentence of your answer should be on page 4 (at least a total of 1000 words count expected, excluding references). Longer submissions will not lose points (unless they go over 6 pages), but shorter submissions will lose points in detail criteria.
