    • Why is it relevant to understand this topic or crime
    • Use academic/scholarly sources to support the information.
    • Follow APA guidelines and cite your sources

    Criminological Theories

    • For each selected crime, use two or three criminological theories to analyze the crime.
    • Define each theory and provide theoretical context.
    • Explain how each criminal theory helps explain criminal behavior in relation to the crimes you selected.
    • Clearly connect each theory or concepts to the specifics of the selected crimes.
    • Explain why each theory is useful to understand each crime
    • Use academic/scholarly sources to support the information.
    • Follow APA guidelines and cite your sources

    Compare and Evaluate

    • Compare the theories you used for each crime
    • Describe your understanding of the theories and which theories do you believe best explains each criminal behavior.
    • Explain how different theories explain different aspects of the same crime.
    • Identify some of the limitations of each theory. Explain how each theory differs in their limitations.
    • Use academic/scholarly sources to support the information
    • Follow APA guidelines and cite your sources.

    Conclusion

    • Provide a learning reflection about your findings and describe how the criminological theories that you selected help your understanding of crime.
    • Explain how can the selected criminological theories can help inform crime prevention and policy.
